    It's either us or LA.

Does Dwight have the balls to leave another team high and dry?

Thank you for your quick edit, mr 13 in 33.

    EDIT-
It's annoying as hell when you're browsing the site on a cell phone.

I keep mine short and simple.

At this point, we better not lose Dwight. I only came here from reading espn.com a few minutes ago, I couldn't believe they put this up top of the page. I'm really hoping it ain't Dwightmare Part Deux.

Not sure where to put this and didnt' want to make a new thread since there's so many howard thread. HOWEVERRRRR (stephen a smith voice), stephen a just made a twist (at least I haven't heard of it yet), that Rockets will be willing to sign Dwight to a 3 year max deal and therefore we would have his bird rights and be able to resign him for his last max year which would completely even up the playing field on the "money that's left on the table".

never thought about that, but that's a great point to get around the bird rights and giving him the max

Considering his injuries i think he would want to only take the longer contract now

High and dry = leaving with nothing in return.

The Magic got something back in return for Howard.

That's not a twist. That's Stephen A not understanding how contracts work. The Rockets wouldn't sign Dwight to a 3-year deal; he'd want the maximum for security purposes, as everyone would. They'd give him a player option after year three, which is standard for max deals these days, at which point Dwight would opt out and the Rockets would pay him at the higher rate going forward.

We already knew this, but it's good to know it's filtering to the national media. They can be a bit slow. :)

I'm not comfortable with the implication here that Harden met with Howard and then reported back to the Rockets his strong interest and then that Morey used that information to inform his decision to shop Robinson. You can't stop a player from trying to talk his buddies into coming to play for his team, but when that player is coordinating with his GM, it starts to look more and more like tampering.

I'd love for someone to find a video of Howard using one consistant low post move. One that he can constantly go to..

    This.

This is the first opportunity he's had to actually choose a team. He has a right to leave if he chooses to.

Hopefully other key free agents follow suit.

yes, that's true and we did know that but the news was that the Rockets are willing to do that, and risk possibly another dwightmare.
