This is what I have been thinking while watching Roy Hibbert killing the Heat. They really need some size it the middle. If we can sign Howard, we can offer Asik and Lin for Bosh and Norris. They get size and a great post defender in Asik and a better starting PG in Lin. Rockets gets Bosh and one more back up PG. We keep Parson.
Not really perfect. The 27year old one from 3 years ago would be perfect. 30 year old Bosh in one year only acceptable
The Heat don't need Lin, especially with Lebron and Wade more than capable of handling the ball but Asik would be a nice addition, if they have to part ways with Bosh. Lin would probably be better off as a 6th man on the Heat, but another option would be is get a 3rd team involved.
He's the most crucial part to their team, Spoelstra says it all the time. Without Bosh the Heat wouldn't be as dominant as they were this year and at the beginning of the playoffs. Chances are much higher imo they trade Wade.
Most crucial of Chris Bosh's game is he plays in control, but without Lebron getting all the pressure, his game would of been like when he was with the Raptors. We have too many finesse PFs in our roster, want more?!?!?!?
No I don't want him, just stating that I don't think Heat would consider trading him instead of Wade.
Even parsons for Bosh straight up to me sounds stupid. No to Bosh coming to Houston. Hes only going to be 29 next season but imo he is on the downhill of his career. Averaged career lows this season and in the POs he is looking like ****.
Plus next season I think parsons will be a 18ppg, 7rpg, 4apg and raise his FT% to around 78-80% I wouldnt wanna lost that kinda player as a 3rd option on the team.
bosh makes $19 mil next year and then has two player options for $20.6 and $22.1. morey doesn't do player options and bosh is not worth anywhere near that price.
Ball fondling. But the chances of that happening are next to nil. On the other hand, if it does happen, he's a star.
Bosh is weak. Do not want. This HangTime blog article says you need to know from Bosh's effort in the Pacers series... http://hangtime.blogs.nba.com/2013/05/30/stronger-work-from-bosh-vital-for-miami/
This would actually be a perfect trade for both teams imo. Bosh is a perfect secondary star. Next to Harden he provides spacing, good screens, pick and pops and pick and rolls. Next to Dwight he also provides good spacing and he also plays good team defense and has been great not demanding the ball and shots. If Norris can keep shooting threes as well as he is doing than he'd be a good back-court fit. Beverley/ Cole Harden/ Parsons/ Bosh/ Smith Dwight/ Ohlbrecht WCF or bust. If Wade keeps breaking down Lin is a legitimate scoring threat with the ball in his hands and Lin-Lebron PNRs would be a thing of beauty and Asik gives them that interior presence and rebounding that they've always needed.
