Not saying the refs decided the outcome of the game, but man that wrong call when the ball was clearly off Lebron and led to a 5-0 run has got to hurt. Also all those missed layups by Indy in the first half.
Haslem going Horry in the 4th. Wtf happened to the Pacers defense? This series is over. I hope SA is rested enough to beat out the Heat.
Augustin really hurt them as well, the series of unforced turnovers in the 3rd pretty much sealed the game for the Pacers
Hill, Stephenson, Augustin: 2-14(5 pts) Hibbert w/ 6 rebounds(pretty even 33-32 Indiana) Wade & Bosh: 6-15(17 pts) Forget all that - LeGod went into LeGod mode, took over, & Miami never looked back.
The East sucks so bad that Lebron + role players stepping up can still go to the Finals. That won't fly v. the Spurs.
You aren't winning any games when your three guard rotation gives you a whopping total of 5 points. Lebron carried them in the 3rd when it was decided. Birdman hopefully won't be playing game 6. That was a joke calling a double T and only a flagrant 1
That's actually sad for the pacers. They should feel ashamed. They lost a game by double digits when the Heat's 2nd/3rd best players had terrible games. Again, it's over on Saturday.
this is the exact same Heat team that had the best record in the regular season, 2nd longest winning streak etc etc.
in his defense though, its hard to do anything when Augustin and Hills are turning the ball over before he even manage a touch.
The Spurs aren't the same defensive team, and Lebron is a much better offensive player now. It'll be very competitive b/c Wade/Bosh suck balls. Add Ray Allen/Battier/Cole to the list. This series is basically Lebron + Haslem for 2 games and Chalmers for 2 games > Pacers.
Wade wasn't injured then. And you can take long breaks during the reg. season to rest up. Wade's injured now. He's a role player, period. And Bosh can't play well v. good big men consistently. He didn't have to face that all regular season due to the lack of big men. But he hasn't had a good game in a long time facing Noah/gibson and now West/Hibbert. He's facing Duncan/Splitter next. And Lebron had a HISTORIC regular season.
Exactly, that's what I've been saying. The Pacers are weak. Ray Allen, Wade, Battier and Bosh couldn't have played any worse and the Heat were still in control most of the 2nd half. Spurs would run all over these two teams UNLESS these guys wake up and play like they did in the regular season.
