I gotta admit, this is a pretty gross overreaction. The dude did not even discuss one once of the story. No review of what happened and no preview of what is going to happen. It was nothing more than a post on how excited the guy was. All I can say to you HP is, I hope that wasn't a spoiler.
Oh great. He was talking to her about how they can't win a war, because they don't have a real army, and 7 times in the past they've tried and 7 times failed. Then she says; "You know nothing Jon Snow." And now you're confirming that in some cryptic spoiler, about Jon Snow being wrong, obfuscated as a message to me. Ahhhhhhh.....There are spoilers e v e r y w h e r e. I don't tell me Doc Rocket didn't insert about 5 spoilers into his last message about Howard. They all came true too.
It's just something she says. A lot. And has more to do with a clash of cultures and how she ribs Jon for not knowing the wildling way while she's similarly ignorant of life south of the wall. Ex. "Is that a castle?" when she sees a windmill.
It looks like the actress who plays Daenerys might be pulling a "Kristin Kreuk", ie starts out promising but soon afterwards her acting gets worse every year.
To the book readers (not spoilers) - is it just me or does this season not really resemble the books at all? Might just be due to the lack of POV's in SoS or that I haven't read the book in a while, but during the first season espicially the show followed the book pretty closely. In this season, I have identified only a few scenes and dialogues that were also in the book. Not complaining, if anything makes more entertaining for us book readers. Anyways, it's been a great season so far, can't wait for these last two episodes.
She was terrible from the get go. Considering Daenerys is a significant long term focal point of the show, I would have thought they would have casted a stronger actress.
Just finished reading the books!!! Spoiler I really loved the part where Jon Snow and the wildlings go back North of the wall and get really hungry and thirsty. And Jon Snow starts to eat some of the snow on the ground. Problem is, the snow that he's eating is YELLOW. All the wildlings start laughing at him, and he's all like "What?!" Then the chick says: "You know nothing Jon Snow." Can't wait to sewe how the show interprets that part.
so now me, a non book reader is expecting something like Ned losing his head in the next episode which is gonna dull the effect of whatever is gonna happen. This sucks.
i would suggest to let this post fade off until after the season ends, use the unsullied and no spoilers
Don't know why some posters here have their panties dug up their crack. Dig'em out, get on with life. Spoiler A poster basically says the second half of SoS will be Season 4---actually, it's the last 40% or so, and Season 4 will dip into Books 4 and 5, which are mostly concurrent stories, different characters. And the poster says there'll be lots of action. Why not just take from that, Season 4 is gonna be freaking awesome?
I didn't even think that was a secret. It's something the producers have said publicly multiple times. My own speculation is that they may try to get 3 seasons out of books 4 and 5. That would be 4 more seasons (if season 4 starts bleeding into book 4, then maybe 3 seasons) after this one. Book 6 should be out by then, maybe they get 2 seasons out of that one. So 6 seasons from now, hopefully the 7th and final book is out. Speculation is that the last 2 books will be around 1500 pages each and will take 3 years to write if he keeps a pace of 500 pages/year (but it took 11 years for the last 2 to come out). Book 5 was released 1 1/2 years ago.
