I don't need to prove jack ****. If you are pinning your hopes on resigning Dwight Howard and getting LeBron James as a free agent good luck with that pipe dream.

His endorsements don't come from what city he plays in, it comes from winning, mvps, titles, and the narrative, the narrative for Cleveland would be off the charts, there would be no hard feelings and globally it would have an amazing effect.

The same thing goes for Dwight, and all the other top tier players, that's why Dwight's endorsements have plummeted, his narrative has been awful, that's why Carmelo's the same, his story hasn't changed, that's why Durant is 3rd in endorsements to Lebron and Kobe despite being int he nba's smallest market.

If you think the mercenary story sells more than the redemption story, then I'd suggest you actually watch something Hollywood produces one of these days.

First he only has 1 championship so far, so that's championship not championships...

secondly taking his brand to LA to produce film and music? LOL

thirdly, you said he already had money, then why does he need to go to a bigger market and start from the bottom and ruin his re-built reputation?

fourthly, lebron already has fame and fortune... only thing he will chase is legacy... whether you do with more championships or more sacrifice(by going back to cleveland) its up to him... he will not go to LA and produce LOLOLOL films and music LOOLOLOLOLOL

Winning nba titles, Mvps, etc... Is meaningless these days. I keep reading how the nba ratings are horrible this year (just google it because I'm on my phone with this post). I don't think anyone but basketball fans care about titles, Mvps, etc...

Hollywood will still tell the story about lebron overcoming the odds to get out of Dayton and make it to pimp ass la. The storyline that Hollywood produces don't mind the characters being from humble beginnings, but the actors themselves need to be ballers if they are expected to sell the world on their quality of life. The first step in advertising is to convince the audience that they are missing something...then they follow up with what it is they are missing.

It truly doesn't. What matters most are the relationships developed through team work and competition, and better health through exercise. amirite? rite...?

Someone asked a few pages back why our friendly little LA troll is being allowed to remain?

Just read the last 6 pages....its fun watching people who *actually* know something about the NBA and the CBA make him look like a total and complete moran.

A pro tip for ya slistack.....try actually reading and comprehending what is being said to you....the CBA is a fact of life in the NBA, knowing how it works is actually important to be able to figure out what moves are possible and what ones arent.

but I know you wont. Thats ok....every board needs a resident dunce to make fun of.

Yeah that was me who asked....and it's clear this guy isn't interested in learning squat. It's like trying to reason with a someone who's only interested in getting attention and arguing for the sake of arguing. I even picked apart one of his troll posts to show how he's just trolling and he wasn't interested in any of that. Just kept right along with the trolling. Insecurity it sees can make grown people do stupid things.

My God Lakers fans are so entitled. You're so used to punks like Kobe forcing trades to Lalaland or teams handing over Pau Gasols or over the hill vets like Malone, Payton, and Nash lining up to ring chase that you've forgotten what it means to BUILD a team rather than just a bunch of mercs. Time to go to the back of the line, Kobe is done, Howard doesn't want to be there, and don't worry I'm sure Wiggins will force a trade there next year for whatever passes as Divac next season.

Yes guys honestly...I do not believe this guy is this dumb. He is wrong about every basic nba concept both on the court and off.

He is either trolling and making everyone responding to him look like fools or he is dense and isn't worth the time to debate with.

Just dont feed it any more...its not improving lol.
