of course they did, but Andersen didn't take any minutes from Haslem. He replaced Joel Anthony, Rashard Lewis and some of their ultra small ball lineups. He added to their size, shot blocking and depth. It's obvious why that's better. Rashard Lewis and Joel Anthony aren't very good. re Copeland, I guess he's big and fast enough but he still hardly plays any defense.
Really solid. My only complaint is he takes forever to initiate the offense sometimes. But otherwise he does everything at a good level. His defense is really really good too. So much length at the PG position. He can guard Dwayne Wade for possessions. He knocks down his open 3s.
I know that's part of it but I just am not impressed. I think he works on the Heat team because they're so damn good and they have Lebron.
which i don't understand. in what sense exactly? would his rebounding, defense get much worse? he just took Hibbert out of a few possessions by fronting him perfectly. that's pure effort and brains, nothing to do with the Heat. would he get fewer open shots? possibly. but if he's covered at midrange, he's drawing the defender, which means he's spacing the floor. You don't want Haslem to win the game for you with shooting tbh, Heat or not. Just draw a big outside the paint and do all the other things.
