Carroll Dawson doesn't get an arrow to the knee?

 

Dawson was a great assistant coach, great teacher. Some claim he was a horrible GM, others say he couldn't say no to Rudy and the bad contracts were Rudy's fault. In any case, his tenure as GM was not sterling except for the draft of Yao which some still question. What is indisputable is that after the two championship years, the Rockets couldn't seem to get traction for a very long time. Still trying.
