I don't believe it's rigged, per se, but with TV contract negotiations coming up obviously the last thing the league wants is Pacers-Spurs. I'm pretty bored by this series and all East series, really. The Pacers obviously are a very good defensive team, but still, the talent discrepancy is huge. The Heat should be be winning every game fairly easy. Their offense is just as basic as OKC's, yet Spoelstra seems to get no criticism, while Brooks get blasted. Why? Spo, just like Brooks, keeps starting a guy that's a 9th man at best, as well. The Heat also have stuck with their their aggressive trapping scheme when all it does is open up easy shots for an offense that otherwise wouldn't be able to score at nearly as high a rate. The Spurs would crush this Pacers team. Warriors might be them, too. Hell, the Rockets probably would give them a series.
Best players in the series so far: 1. LeBron James 2. Roy Hibbert 3. Paul George 4. David West 5. Wade 6. Bosh
Very true, Wade has been underwhelming so far. I think it actually works out that Wade didn't get suspended, if he did it might have lit a fire under Miami's ass. If they are clicking on all cylinders they are incredibly hard to beat. Not sure if I want to see a Spurs-Pacers or Spurs -Heat series though..
The Spurs will massacre the Pacers but I do want to see Indy pull off an upset. If its Miami-SA it will goto 6 games at least and be entertaining. Don't know who I want to win when I do my voodoo ritual tonight.
Indiana is averaging 30+ FT Attempts per game this series...... Any slight amount of contact is a Miami foul...
I never said that the refs were the only reason they won the game. I said Indiana is averaging over 30 Free throw attempts per game, which is correct.
Why doesn't LBJ post like 50% of the time? It's so easy offense down there. If PG can't check him down there, no one can.
Birdman is getting dunks. That's not a fluke. The Pacers aren't guarding him. Haslem's shot is a fluke. It won't fall later in the game. But LBJ dominating in the post isn't a fluke. He's serious now. but what is fluky is the Pacers shooting 50%. They are below average offensively and is shooting lights out. They will fall back to Earth so their D will have to elevate to stay close.
