Random Thread Bump. I just got around to listening to these 2 songs, and I must say, Kanye is back. I was concerned he had become just another "designer clothes, b****es, money" rapper, but he's back to the rap that he gave us in MBDTF. Now, I'll always miss the "College Dropout-Late Registration-Graduation" days, but he's grown up and his material is much darker, which is fine. Can't wait for the album.
It's sad how black artists like Kanye and Jay Z manipulate the lower class much more than corporations. It's one thing to use the angst of the 99% against the 1% like they aren't part of that tier ... but the so called evil corporations and white wealth do much more for the poor than them. They are non-existent when it comes to charity and giving back - both their charities were shut down for lack of funding and the cash they do spend goes towards LVMH and branding strategies like Barclays Center (which Jay Z, despite all the publicity, barely invested $1 million into and uses the stadium as an avenue for his own product placement). http://thegrio.com/2012/02/08/jay-z-reportedly-only-gave-6k-to-charity-in-2010-after-earning-63-mil/ http://www.foxnews.com/entertainmen...ore-than-500g-annually-donates-0-report-says/ PR Rep: "They use their celebrity to give back... not money" Lol, and the suckers keep falling for it. You wanna live the high life, good... but don't **** where you eat. Buy a $20 million house then b**** about the Hamptons. *****s talk too much.
