How about the Grizzlies just suck? Yep, I think that sounds better. Heck, even the Clippers would have taken at least one game from the Spurs. Grizz just flat out plain suck, suck, suck, suck right now.

Indeed. Coach Bonehead just keeps doing the same thing even when it doesn't work. That's usually called insanity. On the other hand, Pop pulls all five starters midway in the 1st quarter when they deserved it.

This series is over. Memphis had a good run. I probably won't bother watching any more games in this series.

I think there's a good possibility that coach Lionel Hollins bolts for another team; he seems to be in demand. If that happens, I think the Grizzlies' chances of competing for a championship will drop to zero next season. Their window of opportunity has closed. Z-Bo is getting old and may be on the decline. They may struggle to even make the playoffs.

Tayshaun Prince needs to retire. The guy is broken and can't do anything out there anymore. He's a liability.

    Pretty much.

They don't necessary need a Rudy Gay type player to win a series like this - however, they DO need a player who can zip throughout the court through screens without getting fatigued, all the while looking to catch and shoot. Someone in the mold of Ray Allen, a young Rip Hamilton, etc.

tl;dr: Memphis needs an infusion of offensive talent, but not necessarily Rudy Gay.

Go Spurs. Please beat the Heat in the finals. The world depends on it.

Uh, the series may be over, but I don't think the Spurs will sweep.

And if you though Randolph was rendered ineffective, I think Griffin would have been even worse.

Paul v. Parker would have been fun to watch though.

So now the team the Grizzlies beat in the playoffs is all of a sudden better than the Grizzlies. That makes sense.

Rudy Gay probably don't miss those shots, so it's a double-edged sword. If I was going to second guess Hollins, I might have tried to play Austin Daye more in this series. If he gets hot, nobody can stop his shot.

not enough offense, Allen and Prince are great defensively but you need more 2 way players. The Pacers are a better version of the grizzlies atm.

Game, set, match. The old Spurs are amazing, just amazing. They might win it all.

No, it doesn't. But it would have been nice for Memphis to take this game so it at least would have been a competitive series. MemphisX, I actually like the Grizzlies and feel bad for you, sir. But anything to stick it to What, I just have to do it. I hope they make a great run next year- as long as they don't run into the Rockets in the playoffs.

I'm trolling especially hard because What is an a**. In no way would I ever go on to a Spurs forum and say that Tim Duncan was a mediocre player, or anything like that, just to be a d**k. You just don't do stuff like that- especially when it's not true. What's incessant, stupid comments about Olajuwon totally warranted it. I hope he curls up in a fetal position tonight, wraps himself in his Grizzlies blanket, with his Big Country and Shareef Abdur-Rahim pictures tucked under his pillow, and cries himself to sleep.
