the grizzlies are showing everybody they ain't ready to go home. The spurs better mount a comeback at some point or the grizzlies are going to blitz them in the next 2 games.

The Grizzlies are going to lose the series, plain and simple. They'll be fishing in a week. Book it.

4 point deficit. Not bad, all things considered.

Near perfect 1st Q for Memphis
Worst Q of basketball you'll probably see from SA.

    You seem frustrated.

Ah, just something I have to let go.

    Oh okay. (uh) Thanks Marc.

Grizz had their chance and blew it. They're going to have the same number of championships this year as they did before: zero.

Nice bounce-back by TP after a very rough first 5 mins. Now it's Conley who needs to get it going. If Conley, Z-Bo and Bayless all lays eggs again in the 2nd half, Memphis has no chance. There was no way the Grizzlies could continue the incredible defensive intensity for a full 48 mins. At some point the Spurs would start scoring and the Grizzlies have to keep up. Going 7/23 in the 2nd quarter after starting 12/25 ain't gonna cut it.

Dangerous time for Memphis. Z-Bo needs to start playing like a boss. I know the Spurs are crowding him and helping a lot, but he should physically dominate Bonner and Diaw. One or two guys on the Grizzlies will step up and carry the load in the 2nd half, don't know who it will be.

Prince may as well stay gone. Pondexter is more important.

Awesome...so now you gauge 2 games on what you see in the first quarter of the first one? Wow, you're a basketball genius. So now are you going to start some thread stating how the Grizz are on the same level of the 90's Bulls? Cmon, you know you're thinking it...

The Grizzlies couldn't even keep their dominance for more than one quarter. The Grizzlies are going to lose this game. They can't handle the pressure. And their owner was a dumba** for getting rid of Gay.

I'm not sure if you're more of a Spurs homer, or more of a Grizzlies hater, but getting rid of Gay was the right thing to do.

You think Memphis would have gotten this far if Gay was still with the team?

Instead of the ball going to Gasol or ZBo, the ball would have stopped with Gay, who would have probably chucked it for a miss.

Yes, I believe a lineup of Conley, Zbo, gasol, gay, and allen is better.

Bayless with bad judgement there. Should have pressured Parker so that TP didn't have so much time to play with, crossing halfcourt.

Well this 4th quarter will basically decide if this series will be short or longer. Spurs right there to take command of this series. If Spurs can get rid of Grizz in a short series, I really like them against either the Heat or Pacers because their series is going to be at least 6 or 7 games. Spurs would be good and rested.
