Paul George is on a better contract than Parsons.

I will only trade him for Paul George. Since that will never happen, i'll keep him.

Morey said Harden is the ONLY untradable player on the team...

But I'm sure if he traded Parsons it would be for a player worth trading him for.

I won't touch the original question, but will pose the following opinion.

I don't think Parson's has come even close to peaking as a player yet.

And this is exciting because as he grows his game, continues to develop confidence and get the green light more often, I can see him becoming at 20/8/5 type player at the 3.

I know I sound like a complete homer, but call it a gut feeling. The kid has stones and talent to match. The scary thing is he's done all this in 2 years while earning the trust of Mchale. Now that that is accomplished, I see him really coming into his own next season.

Until he gets offered Chris Paul or Derrick Rose for him. Harden would be gone in a second lol

You think Harden would be gone for Chris Paul or Derrick Rose? Derrick Rose is a year older and just missed an entire season with an ACL injury, and even in his best season his numbers were very similar to Harden's this year. As for Chris Paul, I love his game but you'd have to think long and hard about trading a 23 year old budding superstar for him.

I love Parsons as much as the next guy, but I tend to agree that people are overrating Parsons a tad these days - although he did have a very good season. I'd say the main reasons people are so high on him is because he was an undiscovered gem, he seems like a

he seems like a likeable guy, and he's on a great contract. Once he gets paid, I think the perception of Parson will change (unless he becomes a star player).

Sorry for the double post (I accidentally pushed tab).

Very hard to trade him because of this small contract. It would probably be some kind of high lottery pick.

I seriously doubt it. And we already have the great Jeremy Lin and the Amazing Patrick Beverly :)

And Rose's knee is already F'd up and CP3 couldn't get the Flippers out of the first round. That would be going backwards...

Unless you're trading him in a Package for a guy like DMC.

I would say as of today, Chandler Parsons is the most untouchable player on the team. Not because of his production, but because of his salary. $ for $ he is one of the biggest bargains in the league right now. I know it's cliche, but we can't get equal value for parsons. You can't trade him straight up because anyone you would want in exchange likely makes a lot more money than him. Someone mentioned chandler for Paul George straight up. George makes $2.5M and Chandler makes 988k. You have to throw in Greg Smith and Patrick Beverly just to make the money match. If you take back salary, you give young talent away while allowing the other team to dump cap space in the process.

Yep, this is pretty much right on the money. LeBron is the only untouchable. DM would not move CP25 with out getting back a lot of value, so while he is not untouchable, it's pretty close to a sure thing that he will not be traded anytime soon.

Harden is untouchable. Promoting Beard, model citizen so far, great teammate and follows order. I think King Alexander and Prince Morey is not going to let this soldier go for anyone except Lebron, or Durant.

Yep absolutely untouchable. Would not trade him for Lebron or Durant in a flash.
