oh ok, guess i didn't see that one. good luck in rest of playoffs horry
Haha, one of these days I'm going to get out of the 2nd round. This draft I think I started well, but I just missed out on Bogut as my center. I thought last draft was my strongest with CP3-Manu-T. Allen-Smoove-Bogut, but I've had some bad matchups. I still believe
I appreciate the support brah :)

Will make my picks in a second.

So close to picking red nation but I think Landry off the bench spreads the floor enough for Gasol to work the low post and make smooth passes to Parsons and Green. Westbrook would murder miller so he would need to have someone else guard him.

    Yung T wins

Kobe is going to put up buckets sefalosha wont be able to slow him down enough. I think lillard makes some rookie mistakes and hogs the ball to much for ginobli to be effective.

    Jamers barely

Spooner. Evenly matched starting lineups. But Duncan needs his 12-15 minutes of rest, at which point an Antawn Jamison/Kenneth Faried combo will battle Ibaka/Dwight/Kanter. I think that will be enough to lose 4 games.

Yung-T. Close. I see no reason why Gasol can't average 20 a game here. I don't think Gortat is physically strong enough in this matchup. I don't think Perkins would play much because while he helps on defense, he helps Yung-T's defense even more (because unlike Gortat, he can't draw Gasol outside the paint at all). I think Davis = easy 15-20 points in this matchup without running many plays for him. He's way too long, athletic, quick for Scola, can handle very well and has amazing hands where he catches even horrible passes, and a great touch in the paint; he would score a ton of hustle points, get offensive boards and just get to the right places for a pass. The problem with him is that he's likely to miss rotations on the other end and will get outsmarted by Scola at times; he's just not a good defensive player yet.
I think RedNation has amazing spacing and if Gortat shoots well and manages to draw Gasol out consistently, that should be enough for Westbrook to dominate here. If not, I think between Green on Westbrook and Gasol inside, Yung-T's defense here should do a decent job.
    Close, but I'll say Yung-T in 7.

Horry. Lillard/Manu vs. 3 below average perimeter defenders in the starting lineup. I guess Kobe can be solid on the ball at times, Beverley off the bench helps a little, and Bogut/Millsap help inside but in the end Lillard/Manu should have above average series here. On the other hand, Thabo on Kobe. Griffin/DeAndre vs. Bogut/Millsap = advantage to Horry on the offensive end and to Jamers on the defensive end but I think that with Manu and Lillard blowing by Vasquez/Kobe/Delfino and requiring a ton of help from bigs, there will be quite a few easy baskets for Griffin and DeAndre.

Are these votes final? I'm not counting them right now because "leaning" doesn't make it sound like final.

Guys I have a front line of Dwight, Ibaka, Kanter. I don't see how I can lose to a team who doesn't have a backup center. His second tallest player other than Jamison is 6'8 and he is nowhere near an elite level defensive player. Outside of Thompson, I don't see a whole lot of shooting in the starting lineup. Rubio can create, but a lot of pressure will be put on Thompson to be a primary option. He's never been in that role before and he'll have to guard Carter/Dragic on the other end. Mo Williams can come in to shoot the ball, but I already have a better Mo Williams in Jack. Duncan and Howard can neutralize each other as they are both elite defensively, but what happens when Duncan needs rest? The paint is wide open for Howard, who at this point can go more minutes, Ibaka and a fresh Kanter. On top of that I'm stacked with shooters around Dwight. If Klay Thompson is my biggest threat, I like my chances. BTW I think JMC build a nice team around Duncan.

it's comparable scoring (maybe even more if Manu can average 30+ minutes, i'm not sure he can) and Thabo on defense. If you had Bledsoe or a good wing defender instead of Delfino, I think you'd win. Not sure if anyone like that was available where you drafted. Vasquez is a good passer and shooter but he's kind of a poor man's Calderon, an instant mismatch if you are facing legit scoring guards and can't hide him. He has size and he could be hidden vs. Thabo -- but Delfino on Lillard or Delfino on Manu wouldn't be pretty either.

i don't know if he can't. Maybe. I assumed he'd play about as much as in the playoffs this year. 25-30 min of Manu and some 42-45 minutes of Lillard (which he can easily do) is a lot of offense.
But it's also not really clear how much it's Pop saving Manu and how much it's Manu himself. I think averaged almost 30 in the Warriors series, and he played near 40 in a few games.

Re Thabo - he can't stop Kobe but like Memphis can turn Durant into a low .400s scorer, every bit of defense helps.
