By Patrick Danner, Staff Writer May 24, 2013 A divorce case filed here two months ago that bears only the initials of the husband and wife has all the hallmarks of being that of Spurs star Tim Duncan and his wife, Amy. The case is playing out in Bexar County District Court. Court papers filed last week include a request that legal discovery in the case be postponed until after the Spurs' last playoff game. Sounds like now that his career is winding down Duncan is taking the necessary steps to turn his home into a D&D gaming lair. Wife probably wasn't into it
Now we know why he doesn't use an obvious twitter account under his name, and likely has multiple cell phones, too. Dude's much smarter than Tiger
She cheated on him with a personal trainer. It's been known for months by a lot of people but nobody leaked it out, until now.
Women... You give them everything and be the perfect husband (I'm assuming Duncan was), and they cheat on you. That's why you have to give them something to complain about so they don't get bored (yes women logic makes no sense)
I dont see TD as a perfect husband. Women don't want a player, but also don't want boring and apathetic. TD probably only cares about basketball and his hobbies, which i think are automobiles. Attraction was likely an issue, also, if she cheated on him with a PT. Duncan is no Tony Parker and he's famous for not giving a crap about his style.
Whats worse is this no talent wife ****er will probably get half of duncans money too. I still dont get why the spouse in any marriage deserves half of the other persons talent after they get divorced. For example if he sold his rings then she gets half the money. If not then she gets half of whatever they are worth.
People get divorced all the time, this so happens to be an NBA star. Ran into Duncan a few years back at a charity event. he was popular with the ladies. http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=101773
If she cheated on him, then would their fortune still be split down the middle? That makes no sense at all.
Doesn't it have to do with something about being married more than 10 years, then you get half? I remember when Kobe and his wife were preparing to get divorced and how people were saying she waited until that 10 year mark to maximize her money. Also on another note. What are yall's view on prenups? If a couple gets one are they basically saying this marriage would most likely not work out? I remember in a women's studies class I took this was one of the topics we discussed so I'm just wondering what you guys think about it lol.
On the one hand, I can see that logic. But if the PN is agreed on by both people, isn't that "true" love? And Kobe was the party at fault, so I could see why his wife got all that money. But Duncan didn't do anything wrong, as TD's wife cheated on him. The wife shouldn't receive anything except ridicule.
