I totally agree that there are a lot of idiot posts on lakersground...well most team forums for that matter, but lakers especially because there are so many bandwagon fans all over the country. I mean, I see a lot of purple and gold in the stands whenever they visit the Toyota center. As I mentioned before, I'm actually a 10+ year season ticket holder of the clippers but a lakers fan since forever. I was a kid when the lakers starting lineup consisted of magic, Byron Scott, james worthy, ac green and Kareem so, being in la, how could I not be a lakers fan. When the rockets won their Jordan intermission titles, us lakers fans did have to struggle through the club ced ceballos/nick van smack years for about 5 years before the Shaq pot and the vlade for Kobe trade.

Anyway, getting back to my point, I actually prefer the clippers boards because its more intimate and less overly flooded with bandwagon lakers fans. That's not to say there are not more knowledgeable lakers fans overall, there are just a lot more lakers fans in general everywhere.

That said, you have to admit, these sites wouldn't be as entertaining without trollers like myself to throw a few curveballs here and there. It's all in good jest. I was a lot more of a tool on the grizzlies boards during their bs victory over the clippers. I'll be around until around July 12 when Howard re-ups with the lake show.

Yeah, maybe we're spoiled here because most of the posters with high rep seem to have very good knowledge of the game and of the CBA. I literally have trouble reading a single page of a thread on LG without getting annoyed.

I believe Hakeem when he said there was only one team on Howard's list last time around, and Brooklyn and Dallas were not on it. This is all a theory so no need to call the fact check police, but Howard's back surgery probably delayed things with the lakers. They needed to see positive progress with rehab before they cut ties with bynum. Howard spent several months in la before the trade was finalized and made public. He was sort of a douche too because he skipped out on His basketball camp in Orlando so he could check out a kings playoff game and dodger game with magic Johnson.

Honestly, from all that backstage crap they show on the time Warner channel,I really don't think Howard really cares all that much about winning. He really just enjoys having Rihanna, Denzel, Adam sandler, jack, etc...in the stands watching him. The winner this summer will probably be the teams that don't sign him. Kobe says that every year he doesn't win a ring is a waste of a year of his life so if Howard really doesn't care, then that's probably his biggest beef with him because he's now messing with Kobe's S!?t.

I've never been to Toyota center, but isn't it half lakers fans in attendance when the lakers visit? Thats what it looks like on tv. My pet peeve are fans of team of cities that they don't and have never lived in. Celtics and Knicks fans come out in force at clippers home games and I find it totally lame when these same fans tell me they've never even been to Boston or New York. He'll, I even see a few games at MSG every year and I'm not rocking Knicks gear at staples center.

I'm sure the lakers are probably the most annoying team on the road though. Gasol joined the lakers on an east coast trip and he was surprised that most arenas were majority lakers fans. He said he just thought Memphis was that way because they sucked.

the new cba changed a lot as well, the last cba was essentially if you want more, pay a tax. The lakers basically took the strategy, overpay short term for crap and try to use it to grab a salary dump, and outspend every one, and it worked great.

then came Miami, which is more a case of, stars are birds of a feather and they flock together.

You just figured out that Memphis fans aren't the brightest around?

    No wonder you're Lakersground material.

    WAY

    TO

    GO

    Dingus

You managed to show us how dumb what can be(who is no different than slestack in this thread, another team's fan trolling) and a Knicks fan who followed Lin here.

Add you to that list, (yet another Lakers fan) and it seems to me the dumbest posts are from non-Rockets fans.Im not saying we dont have some dumb ones, but for you to be the one braying about them is kinda ironic since you are no better.

slestack....you have just admitted to trolling....Ive got my eye on you, hopefully you are smart enough to behave cause I wont be giving a known troll any slack like I might for a established member.

There are quite a few lakers trolls on clutch fans in the last week. Its easy to spot. They are the ones making ridiculous arguments about Dwight not coming to Houston. Obviously, they are s*** scared of him leaving LA for Houston.

Most Lakers fans pretend that they don't care or want him to re-sign anyway. Inner defense mechanism if he walks. Basically let Dwight ruin their franchise!
