    I have a feeling this will get moved to D&D, but just wondering thoughts of the bbs about an islamic community center praising peace and tolerance being built in a prime location.

    Agreed, but I'm looking forward to seeing the ignorance. Aga Khan's sect is very tolerant and promotes peace. But I'm sure that won't matter to some posters.

    Oh good -- that land has been sitting fallow for freakin' ever. It's about time someone built on it. It'll be good for the restaurants and businesses a little south of there on Montrose. I hope they build enough parking though because their neighbors are a bunch of assholes about street parking.

    if I were the FBI I would approach the leaders of this center and ask them to be vigilant for any possible radicalization efforts

    I'm Muslim but not of the Aga Khan sect. But just from my perspective he seems to be a Muslim Pope for that sect of "Islam". He's caucasian and where's big hats like the pope usually does too. I disagree with the concept but it is what it is.

    Had to look up who this Aga Khan is and after seeing who he was, I highly doubt anyone should be worried about a few ismaili's.

    Would you also contact every non-Muslim church about keeping tabs on their congregations? Or contact hate groups to make sure they don't attack this place?

    Enterprising entreprenuers on this BBS should contact BJ's Restaurant/Brewhouse, Buffalo Wild Wings, and Lifetime Fitness to open franchises as close as possible to this. :p
