Belgian is definitely crazy. But German football is equally on the rise and will be tough to deal with now and in the future. They just don't have any legitimate quality strikers at least not that I know of.

Germany has always been amongst the best, at least in the national level.

Agreed- I'm a side fan of Belgium since the Scifo/Nilis days and think they are no longer a surprise for opponents who by now know that the Belgian team is on the up and up. (Dries Mertens of PSV doesn't get as much love as Hazard and Fellaini, etc but he is an underrated player imo. Excellent control on the wing)
I think their forwards are ready, Lukaku, Benteke and the "elder statesman" Mirallas. They arent teenagers, they've done the business in a top flight league so the pressure shouldn't be that much more than what teenage Thierry Henry and David Trezeguet faced in 1998 playing in the WC in their home country and subbing in for an average international striker in Guivarch.

Meh, I'd put Gomez as that and Klose despite his age is proven as a quality international striker(that ability in front of goal).
I wonder about the young German strikers though. Does Schurrle get to play more up front or on the wing for Germany? Maybe ATW or Yung-T can give info on that.

Schürrle plays on the left wing. But right now the biggest thing is Löw trying to implement a formation without a real striker, this would be formation 1B and we're testing it lot atm. Players like Götze, Reus or Özil would play up front as a false 9, kinda like Barca does with Messi.
The only real striker besides Klose and Gomez is Kießling from Leverkusen, top scorer in Bundesliga, but Löw seems to have a grudge against him.

Now that we have our champions, time to see how we did with our predictions.. 5 out of 7 for me.. Not bad considering nobody really thought Chelsea was going to win Europa League.

Just shows how pathetic FFP is, this is a joke. And Falcao lost all the respect of every real football fan, embarassing move.

And apparently, Mourinho will decide of Kevin De Bruyne's fate.

    <blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p>Talked to <a href="https://twitter.com/search/%23KDB">#KDB</a> agent de Koster today. Told me that <a href="https://twitter.com/search/%23Mourinho">#Mourinho</a> himself will decide if <a href="https://twitter.com/search/%23Chelsea">#Chelsea</a> will work with KDB. Decision until weekend <a href="https://twitter.com/search/%23cfc">#cfc</a></p>&mdash; Tim Röhn (@Tim_Roehn) <a href="https://twitter.com/Tim_Roehn/status/336957516795756545">May 21, 2013</a></blockquote>

    <blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p>Another quote of <a href="https://twitter.com/search/%23KDB">#KDB</a> agent de Koster: If <a href="https://twitter.com/search/%23Mourinho">#Mourinho</a> does not want him, it would take only hours to find a solution with <a href="https://twitter.com/search/%23Bayer">#Bayer</a> OR (!) <a href="https://twitter.com/search/%23BVB">#BVB</a></p>&mdash; Tim Röhn (@Tim_Roehn) <a href="https://twitter.com/Tim_Roehn/status/336962738477735937">May 21, 2013</a></blockquote>

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p>I guess it's really easy now: If <a href="https://twitter.com/search/%23CFC">#CFC</a> wants him to stay, <a href="https://twitter.com/search/%23KDB">#KDB</a> will. Probably be on a loan IMO.

I dunno bout that man. I'm not going to hate on a guy for going to get his money. Samuel Eto'o went to Anzi and got his money, I don't think real football fan's lost respect for him.
Plus, I won't call it embarrassing unless Monaco fail to win or place 2nd in Ligue 1 next season. With the moves they're making, they'll have to get a CLeague spot for the following season or the owner will probably take issue.

Just fyi, if Klose plays at the World Cup next year, he has a good chance of becoming the all-time leading scorer at World Cups.

    But yeah, no legitimate strikers.

    Just stop posting.

He could've gotten slightly less money with Real, Chelsea or City, clubs that are already powerhouses and established.

But goin to a team that just was promoted to Ligue 1, only for the money? Let's not forget he's 27, in his prime and has many good years left. Totally embarassing in my opinion and a sad day, rich investors ruin modern football.

The money is the main thing, but keep in mind he won't have to deal w/any bs about being the starting striker at all times, he'll have a chance to win silverware in France like he would in England, he'll have a good opportunity to get his team into the champions league for next season and play in the champions league against all those big teams you mentioned. I don't feel his good years as a striker will be wasted. Keep in mind w/the last sentence, that's what many people felt about Abramovich and City/Sheikh Mansour albeit in a different context. So far Abramovich and City/Sheikh Mansour haven't ruined the game.

    #LeaveFalcaoAlone!!!!!

You should be a Man City fan Kam, they have Aguero and he's Maradona's son in law.
