Also, Earl Boykins still affects our salary cap apparently.

So in your scenario if you trade TJones away for a future pick, you can see we could conceivably sign both Dwight and Paul outright.

By the way, if Dwight and Paul both decided they wanted to come here and Morey wanted to both of them...it would never come to this. Clippers would want to execute a Sign and Trade for anything of value rather than let Paul walk for nothing. The only thing Morey has to do is start putting together the salary dumps of converting Asik/Lin/TRob/TJones/RWhite/Ohlbrecht/Smith into future draft picks. IT would be easy to do. Just start with the Celtics. Offer them Asik/Lin/TRob for Rondo/CLee. Done deal. Then Offer Rondo/White/Lee around to a team like Utah, possibly Atlanta for nothing but air and a couple draft picks.

Once LAC and LAL saw this thing unraveling that way, they'd be at the table with Morey begging and pleading for sign and trades.

Haha we can argue about how 'easy' it would be for Morey to do all those aforementioned steps, but if he made the necessary moves, yes, we could have CP3 and D12 I imagine. If the two would take minor pay cuts like the Heat Trio did, our life would be even easier.

Wait, isn't that what my 4 x $490k = $~$2M for? Can also hope cap goes up to $61M for ease of math.

That's pretty much what's has been said of the Spurs and Nash for the last 6 or 8 years.

Will Dwight and CP3 decide to team up in wherever they land this summer? If so...

When pitching the prospect of playing in Houston, will Dwight and CP3 be asked to take a pay cut in order to team up here? Hypothetically. It will allow us to use up that free space to get role players to fill out our roster. ALA taking the LeBron/Bosh/Wade route is the only way for success IMO as oppose to 3 maxed out players. Dunno.

Nash was injured like how Parker and Manu were a few years back. People were claiming their careers as star players were supposedly over then. Nash still managed to shoot 49.7% from the field playing hurt.

Don't forget that Parsons will not be making $900K forever. I believe he can walk next year and Clippers rumor mill has him joining his friend Blake Griffin in LA. So instead of that plan, I think the Clippers will go ahead and keep CP3 and also take Parsons off your list too.
