Soooo, I'm eligible for an upgrade on June 1st, already decided on the HTC ONE, where have you guys been buying it? I saw on costco it's $129, but I think you have to be a costco member.
If you want it on T-Mobile you probably should order from T-Mobile (their version has the AWS 1700 HSPA band so you'll have better "4G" reception). Otherwise shop around.
Snoopy, download Zedge. It gives you like thousands of ringtones, wallpapers, etc. I also downloaded Swift Key for my new keypad. My coworker has the S3 so we did that "tap" thing, it was awesome.
I never understood the whole build quality argument. I have a galaxy note 2 which is plastic just like all the other galaxies. I've dropped several times with any damage. I've seen other phones(iphones) which supposedly has better build quality look like crap just by placing it in a purse or pocket. How do people define build quality?
I've owned the GS1-GS3+Infuse+Galaxy Tablet. I've considered anything with the Galaxy branding to be of poor build quality (the Infuse was great quality). It feels like cheap plastic. The iPhone and HTC products are sturdy, carry a weight to them, "feels" like a $700 phone. The Galaxy always feels like a toy.
Much of it has to do with the way it feels in your hands. The light plastic of the S3 & S4 are big turn-offs for some people. For others like you, the plastic is fine (or even better). It's great there is a choice between two diverse phones that are both stellar.
IT'S NOT PLASTIC! IT'S AEROSPACE TECHNOLOGY AND IT FEELS GREAT! :/ I friggin' love this phone and especially love being able to add a recharged battery and more memory anytime I want by simply opening the back. It's also not slippery like the S3 is. I liked the HTC but Verizon doesn't carry it, and I just think I would have had buyers remorse since I've wanted the Galaxy since its inception. Not trying to hate on Apple, but man the iPhone seems soooo outdated compared to these two phones.
You would have lost. I already put in a 32GB card. I'm not trying to say it's better than the HTC, they're both equally bad ass. I just really wanted the S4 and the camera features since the wife and I do a lot of traveling, so yes the extra powered up battery will help. Plus Verizon doesn't carry the HTC, so there.
It just feels so nice in the hand. Brushed aluminum and a curved back. Very ergonomic. Still allows for one hand operation
Who cares about the build quality. Most of yall gonna slap on a case to it anyways. As long as it's light and thin, that all I really care about.
