Now that Cavs got the first overall pick, LMA to Cleveland might be a possibly. Realistically I don't think LMA is leaving the Blazers unless he wants to leave and I doubt he wants to leave to go to Cleveland.

I think the Blazers are done drafting unhealthy Big men with the 1st pick in the draft.

Kyrie is like 2 years younger than Lillard and is gonna be a superstar. Lillard doesn't have as much potential as Kyrie.

Hell no. This guy is a black hole on offense and wants to get PAID.

With the possibility of LeBron returning if the Cavs can put up a supporting cast when he turns a FA

Nerlens Noel torn his ACL. I don't the Blazers want to go through all that again.

My wild guess is LMA would welcome the opportunity to leave a dysfunctional mess in Portland to join a budding superstar on a team going the right direction.

I guess you missed the last Blazers season because they had a better year than the Cavaliers and the rookie of the year. They have just a good a future as the Cavs plus it's not Cleveland.

I didn't miss last year. The Blazers are still owned by the flake Paul Allen. Last year was calmer than others but nobody is sure how committed he is to the team. I love Damion Lillard but Uncle Drew blows him away by a mile.

Because of Paul Allen's erratic behavior the last few years, Portland is about the last place I'd want to be. The one edge it has in this discussion is not being Cleveland. That isn't debatable.

    Who says?

He just won rookie of the year and played an entire HEALTHY season of 35+ minutes per game.

Here are the similarities in their numbers:

    Kyrie Irving
    PPG 22.5 APG 5.9 RBG 3.7 PER 21.51

    Damian Lillard
    PPG 19.0 APG 6.5 RBG 3.1 PER 16.45

Not as big of a difference and that is all considering this was Damian's first season in the NBA. And btw Lillard is 22 and Kyrie is 21, so it's not that huge of a difference age wise.

Have you even seen Lillard play? My guess is no.

If they're offering the #1, you take it. LA will be 28 when the season starts. There is no way they get to contender status, while he's in his prime, which is now.

Trade him and build around the pick, Lillard, and Batum.

Kyrie is just better than lillard. If u watch both of them it is clear kyrie has more natural talent, better offensive moves, and is 2 years younger. He was the no 1 pick for a reason

Or the Cavs can give the #1 to us in return for TRob, Smith, Beverly, and a personal chauffeur named Royce White. Much better package than a declining nobody like LMA.

Be a man. Do the right thing.

Also, Irving is the 1st, 2nd, and 5th option for offense on that team. I guess Waiter and Thompson are 3rd and 4th. Lillard has Aldridge and Batum (and others) to distribute scoring.

Although Irving, if he can stay healthy, is a heck of a player.

No way they trade Thompson after putting so much work on him, they rather trade Varejao.
