I have the Note 2, and in my house is a S4 and a HTC One. Other than screen size, I find myself more drawn the HTC One, then the S4 then my Note. I can see how crappy the screen resolution and color saturation is next to these two phones and now it makes me dislike my Note.....just a tiny bit.
Just got my HTC One. Pretty sleek phone. Still trying to customize it. Does anyone know if the stock launcher can edit the home screen? I hate how it's a 4x4 grid when it can go 5x4 pretty easily.
HTC One is awesome.. not missing my iPhone at all. definitely couldn't say this about the S3 and probably not the S4 due to its crappy build
Love the HTC One .... but since being majority owners of The Beats you would think they would provide you with better earphones. Cuz these sucks. not missing my Iphone at all after 5 yrs of 3 models I'm surprise HTC don't do more advertising ........ General peeps will just know the competition between Iphone n S4 Edit: WHERE IS THE % sign on the keyboard??
Here is an alarming article about HTC. Several key people left recently and this is apparently casting doubt on HTC's future. http://www.androidauthority.com/htc-is-a-sinking-ship-214420/
after scoping the crowd and lots of user of both S4 and HTC one... right now many folks love the HTC One...excellent design and great performing phone...
I have no doubt that the one would beat the s4 if they had just as good of an advertising team. Then again, the one doesn't have the little nifty hand motion and software the s4 has to show off. Hope HTC doesn't shut down or anything.
Judging by HTC's stock price, I think this executive exodus thing is a bit overblown. More likely some internal reshuffling going on after poor performance in recent years, and some affected people with sour grapes are "leaking" stories to the media. Three weeks with the One now. Best phone I've ever used, simple. I'm a customization freak and right now I couldn't even be bothered to change the default wallpaper. Everything is nearly perfect out of the box. I'm so glad I bought this phone.
I read the article and it didn't sound like anyone important. They do have to minimize their mistakes and make more hits like the One, however.
Verizon shipped my S4 early and it's out for delivery today. Stoked, although still not down with paying full price to keep my unlimited data package.
I can tell you for sure that you won't be disappointed with the HTC One. Truly a well-crafted, quality product inside and out. We got a Galaxy Note 2 for my wife. She absolutely loves it, given that she's coming from an iPhone. But it took us all of two days to get rid of the Touchwiz launcher and redesign the home screen, and even then she looks at my One and is just amazed at how sexy the screen looks. She knows how obsessed I am with tweaking my phone every other week, so she's also amazed that I haven't changed a single thing since launch and I have no plans to do so still. The Sense email app is a revelation. This is how mobile email should be.
