Role players don't cancel out. Heat have the better bench and role players. That's been demonstrated throughout the season and playoffs. That's where the Heat have the advantage. That's why this series will be over in 5.

Hence why the Pacers should have won this game when they won a lot of the categories that should have given them the game.

This game was just like the Bulls' series. Heat choked down the stretch in game 1 v. the Bulls and Nate won it for them. Heat choked it down the stretch also, but they were able to pull it out.

Miami shot 49.6% in the regular season and 49.1% in the playoffs. And they shot 47.7%.

Again, Indy did what it set out to do in most categories.

And remind me when the last time an opposing team had a +7 FT attempt advantage over the Heat on their own homecourt, or in general.

Heat had 60 points in the paint, and had 1 less offensive rebound compared to the Pacers.

Pacers clearly didn't play there best ball. The rebounding should be dominated by the Pacers the entire series.

can someone tell Lance Stevenson to not chuck up an airball 3 pointer early in the shot clock while protecting a 3 point lead? 0-5 from 3? Why shoot them, dude?

    Thanks!

You guys are definitely going to miss Granger and his 3 point shooting this series.

hibbert is so disappointing. he should be averaging at least 25/12 in this series.

    same as last year.

The Pacers were a top 10 FG% defense in MODERN NBA HISTORY this year. They regularly have a +7 or more advantage because they score the most points in the paint and allow the fewest points in the paint. That's how you draw fouls and shoot more free throws.

crappy, crappy Pacers game, by someone who sees them play all the time, unlike you.

It's the playoffs. Heat try harder. The Bulls always outrebound the Heat like crazy in the regular season, but that is smaller in the playoffs.

    Same case here.

Then who were the pacers v. the Hawks/Knicks that we all saw? The team that played tonight was better than those.

But I do hope they play much better, or else it will be a short series.

So what are you saying? That this was the worst the Pacers can play and that they will win the next 4 games? Or even 2 games?

In terms of the strong connection guys have for one another...the Pacers are pretty close at the top. Even in the early 2000s..those guys would kill for another. Great to see and hope they go far.

You were up by one point. The only thing you absolutely should stop was letting LeBron drive the lane.

Plant your 7-footer right in front of the basket (no defensive 3-second possible) and let the other four guys scramble to cover the shooters. They only had time to make one quick pass after the inbound. Let LeBron or whoever shoot from the outside. If they made it, they made it.

    Yep.

No wonder LeBron blew past George so easily.

He took a step in before he even dribbled.

This was the best chance the Pacers had to win VS. the Heat ..Indy came out as hard as possible and still couldn't get it done against a rusty team that had 4 players go a combined 3-22. Lebron had slightly better numbers than what he's been putting up (thanks to the OT)...Wade was very efficient but not a dominant force (defensively burned a lot), Bosh was a decent scorer with a measly 2 boards and the rest of the Heat sucked for the most part...Pacers had no one besides Hill who played particularly bad and they still lost.

Yep, Bosh pushing off Hibbert wasn't called which changed the outcome of the game.

Good call, he took two steps before dribbling but what are the odds of refs would call traveling while 1) last second play 2) LBJ 3) homecourt..
