Yea, that's how they shut down LBJ from getting to the rim. LBJ couldn't get to the rim at all with Hibbert in there b/c he kept helping. Birdman and Udonis gonna be open ALL series. Udonis missed 2 wide open layups too.

No. But birdman will be productive every game like he has been all year. Do you think Ray Allen will miss a free throw again to seal a game? Do you think Ray Allen will continue sooting 1 for 7 from 3pt land? Ray Allen had an AWFUL game and he's been playing solid all year.

Whoops thought they were better. They averaged 75%. They shot 64%. All in all, Heat played very sluggish. Typical game 1 from them.

They're freaking wearing out this "Birdman. Birdman" thing. Overkill.

West choked in OT. Pacers deserved to win this game.

Birdman pickup looking great for the Heat tonight, basically was the reason why they won this game. Imagine if Joel Anthony was in there, biggest scrub ever.

You should live and die with your best Defensive player on the court for the final Defensive stand of the game. Simple as that.

    Good God, I'm speechless.

Pacers deserves to LOSE. Everytime they got close they let up, I don't like the Heat flopping but they did whatever they had to all game long. Indiana was mentally weak and almost turned it over on their last second shots in the 4th and OT.

You are aware how the Pacers got to OT right? That heave 3pter doesn't go down in the next 10 tries.

Birdman has been balling all year. Thats why they heat are so much better this year than they have been. Birdman and Ray Allen and of course Norris Cole coming around.

That and Ray Allen a 90% free throw shooter missed 1 to seal the game.

    +1

Vogel choked on that one. All Hibbert has to do is prevent his man from catching the ball, and THEN fly at Lebron. There's no time to pass once Lebron catches it and takes a dribble.

Hill and Stevenson were horrible shooting. Combined 4-19 with 7 TOs.

If you break it down, the game went how the Pacers wanted it to go.

Outside of the final score and LBJ's heroic efforts, Pacers won pretty much every category but fg%.

    More FTs - check
    Made more FTs - check
    More rebounds - check
    More offensive rebounds - check
Didn't lose the turnover battle - check
    Shot a better 3pt % - check
    Their bigs dominated - check
George played LBJ to a standstill in the 2nd half - check

Heat didn't play well at all as they didn't win much of the categories they wanted to win. LBJ won them this game.

Youre aware that LBJ hit a fluke three pointer as well? Off a broken play where Hibbert blocked the shot. Also 3 point play by Stephenson negated before half time played a big difference in the final score at the end of the game.

I always felt like the Heat's biggest weakness was their interior defense. Bosh is soft on D and they don't have a legit center that won't give up ground.

Even as soft as Hibbert is, he's got length over the rest of Miami. And West is a pretty good post up player. The Pacers are good enough to take 2 games, but they're still outclassed by Miami.

Now, if the Heat meet the Grizzlies in the finals, Randolph and Gasol are going to have a field day on Miami's front line. And they have good enough perimeter players to make it difficult for the Heat.

And you expect otherwise? One career game doesn't make Stephenson. And Hill will have trouble v. the Heat perimeter pressure all series.

Pacers will go as their bigs go, and ALL of their bigs played well (Hibbert, West, Hans, George).

Everything that the Heat's opponents do are a fluke.

Lance Stephenson thinks he's the feces after Game 6 of the Knicks series. I found that to be rather humorous.
