He scored 26 but he averaged 23 vs. the Heat this year. 2-6 from the line, several turnovers. He will be better, guarded by Battier and Haslem

Hibbert wouldn't have to go too far out to Bosh, he could've hedged, making the passing lane out to Bosh narrow yet could still be in position to protect the rim. Even if Bosh became open, there just wasn't enough time for LeBron to drive close to the rim, make a perfect pass out to Bosh, catch and make a long jumper. If he got the shot off in time and made it so be it, you take that any day over a LeBron going to the hole with no protection.

So stupid that Hibbert was out. Lebron basically did the same thing (drive straight to the hoop) for the last two baskets.

Heat had like 3 players off the bench on the floor before the shot went off..

I understand Hibbert being out on the last play. Pacers wanted to switch everything. Having Hibbert there would make that impossible.

So you're saying that he'll do better than 26 points? I don't think so.

Disagree...with Barkley...Sometimes we just over think certain things...ie for example...in highschool, our coaches would always put the longest and most biggest freak on the sideline inbounder...the greatest advantage is just length and obscuring the inbounder...forget protection at the rim...it is about getting the ball far out...Paul was hedging to Lebrons left too far...and Lebron made a quick right cut turn and attacked the basket ...his speed got him to the rim...However...if you have Hibbert in the game...might as well have hansbrough on Bosh on that last play...have West out of the game...have Hill exclusively on Wade, George on Lebron , and Young on Battier...that was such a terrible decision/in game decision making by Vogel...Coaches shoudlrealise that they shouldnt really try to get too cute and fancy..and let the players that got the lead, stay in the game...

same idea here at 1:31 of this video...Roy had an amazing shot, but you wanna put your biggest guy at the inbounder...and make them take a jump shot, and live with the result...not an uncontested layup at the rim

Their average is 16. And Miami averaged 13, and got 20 turnovers.

The Heat's perimeter D is top notch so you expect those scrubs to play better???

And the Heat as a team shot 64% from the FT line and they are one of the best at shooting FTs.

This was the game. Pacers will win one game and home and the series is over in 5.

Why would they want to switch on everything? The Heat had only 2 second. They didn't have time to run a pick and roll. If the Heat used a screen, the big man could just back off and cut off the lane. Let them shoot an outside shot.

If you don't switch everything with off ball screens, ray allen or someone would get a good open shot....

he may get his averagevs. the Heat, 23, with less turnovers.

Do you expect Birdman to score 16 on 7 shots every game?

Yeah that's not true. They ranked 16 during the regular season.
