13 turnovers. 37 points first half (37 points first half in game 1 v. Bulls too). This will be the game for the taking if Pacers want to make this a longer series than it will be.
did anyone notice Reggie Miller when he left a cliff-hanger on his statement.. he was about to imply the league unfairly makes calls on lebron but then stopped
Not me. While he's most likely in for disappointment, he's also super pumped in the meantime, & will have a super high most of us with casual interest in this series won't if they somehow pull it off. Respect the pure fan. But let me know if EVERYONE is going to have to quote his entire pictorial story thing later, just to follow with a one liner. I'll hate scrolling past 100 of those with just a lol how's that working out for you etc.
Yeah, everyone likes to believe their team is getting screwed. 10 PF - Miami 12 PF - Indiana 3 - West, Stephenson 2 - George, Young 1 - Augustin, Hibbert 3 - Bosh 2 - James, Haslem, Battier 1 - Allen
I agree. I have much more respect for pure fans. Winning is a lot cooler for them. Even pushing the Heat would be so much fun.
the bad news for the heat is they played terribly and the pacers really have affected them. the good news is i'm not sure they could really play much worse. david west and hibbert have hit an above average number of jumpers, 2 of the big 3 have been in foul trouble, the heat haven't made many 3's, and the heat have committed an absurd number of unforced turnovers (lebron having haslem open and throwing it out of bounds and chalmers having an open 3 and passing it up to throw it to no one the biggest among them) and they are luckily only down 5. there was definitely more of an element of what the opponent was doing and less rust than in game 1 against chicago, but the fact that they have had two 37 point halves in the first game after a long layoff should be a little calming. the fact they still lost the other game 1 shouldn't be. and i would like a referee crew that tries to keep the offensive foul to free throw ratio a little below 8 to 13. that's not making the game any prettier.
How many fastbreak points do the Heat have? Wade has reached in multiple times, so many bad non calls by the refs.
