    Ahh... thanks for the correction.

If you get a chance today on the podcast, I wouldn't mind getting your take on the "other moves" the Rockets could make outside of landing a big fish, or on top of landing a big fish like Dwight Howard with their exceptions or lack thereof.

Also, your take on how you see the Garcia, Delfino, and Brooks' situations being played out, and how Garcia could still be retained despite not having his team option picked up.

Anyways. Looking forward to listening to the podcast.

Stephen A. Smith was saying today on ESPN Chris Paul & Blake Griffin do not get along at all and it looks like Paul is going to be resigning with the Clippers

What about trading for Griffin? I think the Clippers will accept Harden & Robinson.

That would leave the Rockets with a vacancy at the 2 guard. I'm not sure if they could sign Igoudala or Bledsoe or Reddick or another free agent guard. Shouldn't the Rockets be thinking about Parsons next contract & spend very frugally?

Both Jones & D-Mo have very good potential offensively. Unfortunately, I think the Rockets may have to trade Harden before those 2 will ever be able to see it fulfilled & making this trade would put the ball in Lin's hands, which I consider to be a positive & the Rockets would be a great fast-breaking team, a much better passing team & allow Jones & D-Mo to have a larger role on offense, which I think they are each capable of like I said, thus making Harden expendable.

Rule #1 - Stephen A. is completely full of BS. I dont believe a word that he says. He's about as truly plugged in as you or I.

I would say first before we start talking about acquiring someone like Griffin, LMA, or Kevin Love.... the Dwight Howard situation comes first. He has the ability to affect the game on both ends in almost a more impactful way, and he comes in as an Unrestricted free agent where they dont loose pieces in trade.

That being said, if the Rockets loose out on Dwight, I would be highly open to acquiring the first one of those 3 bigs that hits the market first. Each one of them are all-star calliber and would fit very well on this young team.

The only downside is the Rockets can't really compete in assets now with teams like say the Cleveland Cavaliers who have a #1 pick and several other great assets to trade for one of these bigs unless they are willing to give up Asik and/or Chandler Parsons. Something that might be a risky proposition for the Rockets to try.

I agree we should trade the best 2 guard in the league for an overrated p***y that can jump high.

Don't forget, Parsons & Griffin are good friends.

Of the free agents I mentioned, I think Reddick would be the best fit.

    Lin Beverley
    Reddick
    Parsons Delfino
    Griffin Jones
    Asik D-Mo

Actually, the Clippers may very well accept Harden + Greg Smith, then the Rockets can trade Thomas Robinson to get another guard. Yes, I'm aware Harden is a talented player. My reasoning for the trade is that it would allow the Rockets to run their offense moreso through Lin, Jones & D-Mo and of course Parsons and Griffin. I'm not even that big of a fan of Griffin, but I think he would fit in good with the Rocket's other starters.

Unleash Lin+Blake Griffin fast break!

Would the CP3-Harden backcourt be the best backcourt since Isiah/Dumars? I'd definitely watch that.

    This is a bad team?

    Lin
    Igoudala
    Parsons
    Griffin
    Asik

Igoudala is one of the best defenders and athletes in the NBA. Asik & Griffin would be the strongest inside duo. It could also realistically happen.

The only reason I prefer Reddick is he could be signed for cheaper and shoots better.

Whoever is high on Harden right now I call a BOH, Basketball only Hater. Why? Because the playoffs is what is called the "real season" where players make their name. Secondly, basketball players are like stocks. Their value so to speak is always fluctuating. There's no such thing as a permanent value just because you had a few good games in the past. Harden acted like he wanted to plays as few "extra games" as possible & certainly not more than 1 playoff round. Like he already accomplished his goals for the seasons: get a max contract, make all-star team, finish top 5 in scoring because he was awful in the playoffs. The Thunder weren't even very good w/o Westbrook. They got killed by Memphis who is getting killed by San Antonio.

I like Lin & Harden, but I am more of a basketball fan than anything. I can be objectively critical. That is called being a good fan. I said Lin was terrible in the playoffs and a scrub a lot in the regular season. So did a lot of people.

Also, when Harden sat out a few games near the end of the season, I believe that was a team decision based on poor effort, not exactly an injury he complained about, almost a disciplinary type thing which I don't think Harden was happy about. If that happened, I'm sure the team was similiarly unhappy with the way Harden played in the playoffs. That is the opinion which matters the most.

That is how a player gets traded if they keep making mental mistakes, because there is no excuse for mental mistakes, or has rotten attitude. That basically describes Morris and Patterson. You don't think Harden exhibited those traits over and over all season even a little by refusing to play the way Coach Mchale repeatedly stressed?

Blake Griffin is the most overrated player in the league, he was ZBo's little ***** for that series, he's been described as incredibly soft, has very little offensive game outside of dunking. I just can't wrap my head around you thinking that the Clippers would "accept" Harden and Robinson like it's a bad deal for them.
