Lin will never get a contract bigger than the one he has. He is way overpaid

Tim Legler was just saying on ESPN radio that Houston is a perfect fit for Howard because it not only has a promising young team, but a star who will make him (Howard) better. However, just before this comment, he also said he does not think Howard is worth the drama that comes along with his play. Surprising how quickly the media turn against a star player.

IMO, I think D12 is out of LA, and coming to Houston. D12 knows Morey has coveted him for the longest time and Houston fans will show him the love that he needs.

Just read Howard thought D'Antoni misused him. What is he going to think when he comes to Houston and the offense is going to be pretty much the same as the one in LA? He could really screw things up.

Shooting 3s and relying on big men as roll men instead of post-ups? McHale might change it up if Howard comes here though.

Yes, he will. McHale is one of the best post player in NBA history...he loves the stuff but the current team didn't allow it. Good coaches adapt to the situation. Phil Jackson didn't have to adapt because he had MJ and Kobe to run the triangle. Poor Phil, he never had any talent to work with.

How will it be the same? If he comes here, he immediately becomes the Rockets primary offensive threat in the post since we don't have any others. He'll also get tons of touches on PnR plays. And with all those 3 pointers being launched, there'll be plenty of opportunities for offensive rebounds and putbacks. Oh BTW, we're also one of the best running teams in the league, so if he makes it down the floor, he'll be rewarded by his teammates with passes for easy layups and dunks. I don't think he'll feel misused in the Rockets offense.

we were playing to our personnel. Who would we throw it in the post? only guy we had was dmo and he started playing late in the season and he's not significant enough to change our game plan, especially that late in the season. also, we will probably shoot as much or more 3's with Howard, with teams doubling up on dwight in the post. We could potentially have the same game plan as our 2nd championship with hakeem and clyde minus hakeem skills lol

I saw more than enough Asik and Greg Smith post ups to make my eyes bleed, too, though.

He will get plenty of touches. James is a better facillitator than KOBE, Lin used to live off throwing oops to TYSON CHANDLER who is no where near the player Howard is. Remember how many post ups ASIK got? Yeah, those will be going to Dwight Howard.

This team is a championship contender next year if this goes through. The improvement of Harden, Parsons,Lin,Asik and just for ***** sake add Dwight.

Parson's proved in the playoffs he can be a legitimate 3rd option on a championship team.

are you sure about that...it seems we think that barely making the playoffs and winning 2 games means DONT TOUCH THIS TEAM... next year we will be contenders

I cant tell you how many friends I have that literally dont want howard...and I just shake my head...like how are people that dumb.

I know this drives me nuts...just because we use the PNR???!!! its totally different.

We set multiple pnr options. We do not use the high PNR as the primary set. We also are running multiple screens to set up different PNR options. Which are extremely good at getting our bigs open rolling to the basket.

We also would add post up plays which mchale is a beast at...IFFF we had a post player. Morey even said that. Dantoni REFUSED to add post plays.

The only similarities to our offense and LAs is that we both use heavy PNR style...but the use of the PNR and the type are extremely different.

Dwight wouldnt be gun hoe about coming here if that were the case...I dont see how you guys dont understand that.

DMC, LMA, Love _ Morey may have his eyes on trading for one of those guys or getting Bosh next year so people may be upset about not getting Howard.

I disagree. I think Lin was an Alexander move and not a Morey move. PGs come a dime a dozen and $8 million a year is over paying for a 15-18th ranked point guard. They probably could get Jose Calderon at a cheaper price.

And if Lin feels he should be the one dominating the ball and Harden and McHale are holding him back like a lot of fans say _ he may not want to stay anyway.

The PnR was a staple play of the Spurs during their championship years and still is.
