its not so much about the simple fact that josh can't hold lebron because lets be reasonable, NO ONE can hold that FREAK OF NATURE, but Josh is a more suitable defender than most power forwards to guard lebron when there's a rim protector in the paint such as Dwight Howard. Think of the Bulls series, Jimmy B couldn't completely stop Lebron, but he did slow him up and Noah the rim Protector cleaned up the rest. Al Hortford is neither Noah or Dwight when it comes to protecting the paint so josh was pretty much on a island with the best player in the world.

When someone offers Asik $12m in 2 years time, we'd lose him for something.

And insurance is worthless, if Dwight goes down, we'd be screwed, fortunately he does nothave a history of injuries.

Playing Asik and Dwight alongside each other for significant minutes would be terrible. No way the Rockets FO is considering this.

I just now checked out the link and realized it was from Ken Berger, which means it is not worthy of much discussion.

    Thank you for the info.

Do you have some info. on Ken Berger? Because he made some pretty significant statements. Would like to know how much credence to give them.

Morey has greater plans than what we think...

This!!! Asik and Howard needs to play on the same team this season. By having both on the teams, we can have more options. Asik should be a starter, there is no reason why we couldn't score more with both of them in there. We could be a team unlike others having two towers who can run and gun. And if teams want to slow it down, we can play like that too. Even better, if G.Smith, or T.Jones grows to be capable starters, we can trade Asik in the middle of the season for a high caliber player on team that is reshuffling the franchise like the Kings recently. Some of the talk about possibily the longest games in season with both of them. I disagree, we probaly have more blowout games than close, tight games. This is a perfect match for Dwight, if he wants spotlight on him and more touches.

I don't have anything concrete, but he has a reputation for tweeting and writing about widely known rumors and speculation as though he knew some insider info.

As far as reporting, he's good. But during slow times and during the trade deadline, draft, etc he just tweets well known rumors.

Wow! Morey says two more stars.

Does that mean Dwight + CP3

    or

    Dwight + JSmith

It means the CBS article is wrong because there's no way Asik (+Lin in the case of CP3) can stay if Morey intends on adding two stars.

Rudolf is regarded as Howard's mouthpiece.

Friend of Howards. I think he broke stories in the past about Howard's trade to LA.

Very difficult to near impossible for OKC. That's why they couldn't keep Harden. Amnesty Perkins and they're still over the cap.

    1) the tweet is a few months old and 2) Morey was kidding around.

He could have meant it, but it was obviously a joke

Rudolf has said recently he likes the idea of Dwight going to Houston.

After today's CBS story, he's just adding fuel to the fire. I don't think he is speaking as Dwight's confidant in this tweet. Although, he would lose credibility if he keeps teasing like this. Maybe he's been kicked out of Dwight's inner circle?

Among the key questions Howard will be asking himself in the next six weeks is whether he's willing to endure another difficult season in LA with the prospect of rebuilding in 2014-15. The Rockets would have Howard, Harden, Asik, Parsons and Jeremy Lin at that point, with flexibility to further upgrade the roster.

    Actually......not
