Mario Chalmers and Norris Cole, experience and consistency just oozes from those guys.

How the hell does Miami win like that?

Dwight just wants attention, so he's going to play it out.

Yes, 'bizarre' is the same word I thought of that

Boston Celtics didnt seem to have a problem with Rajon Rondo as their inconsistent inexperienced sophomore point guard after the 1st "Big 3" was formed.

Spurs didnt have much problem with inexperienced sophomore point guard Tony Parker running the team in their 2nd title.

Its trying to turn Lin into some Matt Maloney (if you remember Matt Maloney). And its just not the case.

I've said before on this forum that YOUNG players do NOT win championships. But I SERIOUSLY doubt Lin on the roster is deterrent from anyone wanting to join the team for a chance at contending.

I think Smith will go because he doesn't provide the versatility of a stretch 4 we need to have when teams go small on us and we have to move Dwight to the Center.

Robinson will go because his $3.5m is the most likely trade piece we need to clear cap space to sign Dwight straight up.

D-mo can provide versatility if he bulks up and improves defence and rebounding. He can play center or the 4. He also provides offence inside, something that may be needed if our guards get shut down and Asik and Howard not firing.

T-Jones has the best all-round skills. He can has hops and is a good shot blocker. Can possibly stretch the floor if he works on his outside shot. Has shown glimpses of the ability to drive inside.

Championships aren't won by past success, teams and players in the now do, and he needs to meet with the organisations to see what sort of team is going to be around him.

Sure he can speculate on potential trades, but in that regard, he's no more knowledgeable than the media until such time as he meets them, and that is why he is going to meet them before he decides.

Howard would just sign outright with the cap room. No decision on Asik yet if they do end up getting Dwight. Rockets feel his trade value is at an all time high right now and aren't worried about getting great return. They will cross that bridge as it comes.

I like the idea of keeping Asik if we get Dwight, especially if teams try to lowball us. We still have many prospects at the 4 and I like the idea of one of them splitting minutes with Asik until we figure out our next move.

Harden would have two bigs to set screens for him and if Dwight or Asik's man try to help on Harden then he will find them for an easy dunk. He's a great passer. We would never get bullied on the boards like we do in the waning moments of the game. That is enough for me.

    Thanks cyberx.

Is this inside information or your opinion?

Anyways, I agree with your statement 100%

Howard will be signed straight up. Asik will not be traded unless a something better than J.Smith comes along (maybe KLove).

I think they'll stagger the minutes of Asik (C) Howard (PF) combo. About 30min playing time each.

    BRING IT ON!

    ASIK / HOWARD TWIN TOWERS

    :):):)

IMO if you never break news of a trade first, how credible can your sources be when reporting rumors of trades?

The only national reporters I can think of that ever break trades are Woj and Mark Stein, that's it.

If you are on a deadline and need page hits to keep your job, the temptation to fabricate sources must be intense. Berger could very easily be full of it.

Rondo and especially parker are not comparable. Both even though had inconsistent times were considered one of the great PGs in the league. Mostly for their ability to still contribute much to the team even when they weren't having hot scoring nights.

Although I'm not familiar with Berger, a major network like CBS will have strict editorial standards and a reporter cannot get away submitting a piece referencing "various league sources" without the editor knowing the sources or the reporter having gained the trust of the editor over a long period.

Falsifying sources will jeopardise the career of the reporter (and editor) and the reputation of the CBS network, likely causing millions of dollars in damages.

Cyber, is there something new that has come out regarding Dwight's interest, or is this just a re-hash of the scoop you posted a week ago?

Just throwing this out there, Rondo and Harden in the back court would be freakin' SICK!!! Rondos D and play making would more than make up for Hardens lack of D. Rondos assist # would be through the roof passing to Harden, Parsons and (sign of cross & prayer) Howard.

    One can only dream.

I agree. Only thing is Houston is a outside shooting team and Rondo can't really shoot from the outside. It would drive a lot of us crazy with people leaving him wide open and him bricking most of those shots. If Rondo could shoot he would be an amazing PG.
