Hey, you never know what will happen after the -4, -3, -2 and -1 picks. It's a crap shoot after that. :)

I'd love to pickup Glen Rice Jr, but I don't believe he'll be available at 34. He'd be a perfect backup at the 2/3. He does everything pretty well and has a NBA body and athleticism. I think he'll probably go 15 - 20. I'd like to trade Trob for a mid 1st rounder to get Glen, and then pickup Andray Blatche in free angency to start at PF.

Meh, why not? If you know you're pretty much going to be drafted, regardless if it's the first or last pick, why not talk up your value? Nothing to lose.

Ryan Kelly is 15 lbs of muscle away frm being a center. He's naturally a 4.

    "They" are wrong.

Kelly played power-forward throughout college and is a stretch 4 with scouts. He probably can't play 5 unless he plays with a bruising 4 (like a Faried, Reggie Evans, Pau Gasol, Boozer, Randolph, Ibaka, etc.) because he spends too much time on the perimeter.

We NEED a better back-up C option next year, but it won't be from a rookie. It's gotta be a defensive minded bruiser rebounder so that we don't suck so hard when Asik takes a breather.

Actually Emeka Okafor at 3M per year is perfect.

Would love to have Emeka on the team (he played high school ball with my kid brother), but I'm guessing that he won't be exercising his ETO on a contract that will pay him $14.5 million next season.

damn, and I thought I read that he was a FA on one of the lists somewhere. Guess we'll have to wait another year. I still have a feeling he'll end his career in Houston though.

The "Maximum Annual Cash Limit" for 2012-13 is $3.1 million. The Rockets included $1 million cash in the Robinson trade.

Therefore, they have $2.1 million in cash remaining that is available for them to spend between now and June 30.

Starting July 1, the Rockets (and every other team) will have a total of $3.2 million in cash to spend, in the aggregate, in trades between July 1, 2013 and June 30, 2014. The prior season's Maximum Annual Cash Limit does NOT carry over to future seasons.

Thanks, how does that amount compare to what other teams have?

Could Hinkie outbid us for a pick?
