[Western Conference Finals] Spurs vs. Grizzlies

I'm waiting to realize that they have to guard all 5 people closely, and not just the one offensive weapon, a la Durant.

This feels like Grizz - Clips game 1 so far, where Memphis was just not ready to play a basketball game.

Ginobili wasn't even looking at the basket and didn't have control over the ball and they gave him 3 free throws. Bull sheet

 

Memphis v. Del Negro = Memphis wins.
Memphis v. Brooks = Memphis wins.
Memphis v. Popovich = Memphis looks like crap.

Memphis better figure it out quick, or else game 1 goes to the home team.

 

Forgot to pick a winner of this series. Is it too late to say SA in 5?

 

Spurs are clearly outplaying the Grizzlies but it seems the refs are super quick to call a foul the Grizzlies.

 

Not really at all IMO. Only bad call was the Ginobili flailing 3 at the end of the quarter. Everything else has been pretty obvious.

This is key too. Coach Pop is worlds ahead of Brooks and Del Negro.

I'm sure no one was saying Clips in 4/5 after winning game 1 against the Grizz.

 

Pops wants his revenge for that massive Grizzlies upset a couple of years ago.

I'm not sure how Duncan / Splitter / Bonner are keeping the rebounds away from Gasol and Randolph, but wow.

Rebounding and defense, going into this series, are two advantages the Grizz had over the Spurs.

If Memphis loses the rebounding battle every night, they're not winning a single game.

 

Parker plays like this Memphis is in big time trouble. The reason the Spurs have seemed beatable is because Parker has been ailing a bit.

 

Was that Warriors' series a ruse by Pop for Grizzlies to let their guard down?

 

I think Gasol has been fouled a few times, but no call.

Glad he's not his brother, in that he doesn't scream every single time he feels contact.

 

Memphis played like crap, outside of Gasol. ZBo has no points? wow.

SA played what seemed like the perfect half.

And Memphis only trails by 14? They'll take that.
