    Obama/Jarret/Axelrod/Emanuel all came up through the Daley machine in Chicago. This is all they know about how politics works. Use power and patronage to reward friends and punish enemies.

    Getting a freaking clue. This is nothing like Watergate, and vomiting the word "Chicago" over and over again doesn't constitute evidence of wrongdoing, or even demonstrate how county or state politics anywhere else in the country for the last two hundred years are in any way different.

    If it's really Rush Limbaugh who's getting all the Republicans to line up against Obama's agenda, I'd be really impressed. Despite having even more access to media outlets and wielding a lot of power within his party, Obama can't get Democrat's to uniformly fall in line behind him.

    Reward friends and punish enemies is politics in general; however, Obama/Axlerod are taking it to a high level (Chicago style). The risk and we are seeing it now is that you "empower" your enemies. Do you realize how excited Limbaugh is that he was singled out; I listened to him yesterday after this came out and he is ecstatic. This is like advertising gold.

    There's a reason Obama complained about Rush to his Hollywood friends. He wants to marginalize and delegitimize his political opposition, and Hollywood can help in that regard.

    I predict Weinstein will commission a Rush biopic in the near future. I'm honestly surprised it hasn't happened already.
