I still think he will be a force. Dude is young, has great offensive skillset that's hard to learn and his D will get better as he gets older.

A force? Probably not. He can be a 12 and 6 guy...solid role player.

As long as he develops his game he will.

He has all the skills and talent to be a force in the NBA.

Will he pull it off? Who knows but there is always hope.

I think he could become a guy that gives you a surprise 18 point night on occasion off the bench.

No guarantee, but I'm still saying yes.

He obviously needs to get stronger, but that's easily doable.

He needs to play smarter, rookies are notorious for mistakes, defensively particularly. Expierence can fix this.

And most importantly he needs to work on that jumper. If he becomes a reliable shooter everything else will fall into place.

I believe he has the talent to be great, but he has to work to get there.

He needs to gain weight and focus on playing inside on both sides of the ball. He is a guy that probably can shoot the jumper from time to time but why not take full advantage of his evident post skills. Give him 2 more years in our system and I think he could be a 15/7 type of guy.

Too early to say no, and too early to say yes. I'll wait and see after this upcoming season, and judge him.

Wow. you'd think he was a 4 year vet who just could not put it together or something. People forget he's a rookie that hardly played.

Obviously he needs work. As do 99% of rookies.

Obviously he needs to improve on D, but that may just mean bulking up and gaining experience.

But it's also obvious his offensive moves are more polished than over half of the bigs' in this league, at least. He just needs to adjust them to the speed/timing of the league and gain some more general experience.

At least give him a full year in the league...

If he can hold his position down on the low block, then yes.
He needs stronger shoulders, upper back and arms, and bigger thighs.
This off season is critical for him.

Hips. Power comes from the glutes. All those other things wouldn't do that much for him in the post, just like they didn't do anythign for Dwight.

Is there such a thing, in this offense?

He needs to stop taking ill-advised threes.

Legit 7 footer with range and post moves. He just needs to get tougher and shoot lights out.

Well, for one he is a rookie so I still believe he can become a good player, no not Dirk 2.0.

He has (some) range, good post moves, and size, just needs to gain some mass and not be pushed around like a rag doll under the basket.
What reinforces my belief in him is that during the stretch of games where he was struggling, he still makes the correct defensive rotation and tries on the defensive end, which is a big plus for me.

Needs to be allowed to do some post-moves, and not forced to shoot three's.
