Many thanks to overly sensitive LOFs and LOHs

Jeremy Lin had as many good games as really bad ones, that's why his numbers are so mediocre. He just can't become consistent, one night he can be scoring 20/10 , the next he'll be scoring like 4 points.

Stop debating stats. There's been enough of it. If he's been on Clutchfans this season, he's heard all the arguments.

Let's just let this be a positive thread. No debate.

Good luck with that. What is there to be positive about? Lin was an OK player this year and then got hurt in the playoffs. There was linsanity in NY but then he got hurt in the playoffs. See the pattern?

Sure it's only been two years, but a mediocre player that is injured come playoff time both years he's in the league doesn't deserve any appreciation from me. Nor should he deserve any appreciation from true Rockets fans. LOFs are the only people who think he should be "appreciated"

so you agree that these numbers don't justify his high salary?

You are a very sad fan. I'm sure you appreciated your other players in the previous years that DIDN'T take you to the playoffs.

The consistency will come IMO. Lin will be a slightly above average starting PG.

I really would love to get Rondo.

He's our third best player while bothered by injury according to Morey.

First, you should use per 36 stats. Second, you should consider the fact he's playing alongside a ball dominant star in Harden. There's really no point in bringing these numbers up because if Harden weren't here he'd probably be near if not in top 10 in points and assists. But would you rather have that then have Harden?

And stop highlighting the 8 million. Thats pretty average for his production level. And he's doing it playing alongside Harden. Just appreciate what he did for us overall this year even though he had his fair share of ups and downs.

He is a young player, 15/7 was my expectation, considering that he was recovering from his injuries in the beginning of the season, I'd say he has met it. I do believe that he will be an all star some day. Just gotta be more consistent Jeremy, you can do it!!!

Good point that Lin haters would rather willingly ignore.

A "true" fan who can't even get the fact straight for one of his players.

Not really. CFans hates unreasonable, illogical LOF posts. This was actually a good post and good perspective, certain performances get etched in our minds and we loose sight of the full season of work. If Lin wasn't Lin I believe he would be considered a high potential, up-coming young PG. If he was a lottery pick without the exposure that Lin has, he wouldn't get nearly as much hate and would be considered our definite PG of the future by most.
