What do you consider "Googling"? We're actually "searching" within the map... it's legal... else you wouldn't be allowed to traverse some of the places, zoom, move about, etc. You know? Who is cheating, that you noticed?
I got dropped at a Westin which looked really familiar, and then I realized it was a Westin that I've been to in Key West. Ha.

Guesses: "Drove" around until I saw some truck that said something with the word MEX in it, and I had a country narrowed down, drove around a little more and couldn't find anything else to differentiate from anything else, so I guessed close to the US/Mexico border just because. I drove around in my next one and checked to see any sort of signs of life, came up on a sign that said Oranjerivier which I can only assume was the Orange River, which I knew was in SA, and kind of guessed as I zoomed in on the map once I located the Orange river. Brazil I just took a guess at it being somewhere between Rio/Sao Paolo, was totally wrong. Then I remembered seeing a sign with the name of the city but I didn't know that was a city to begin with, so it didn't help me any. There was absolutely no signs in the 4th one except it looked very southwest-y, specifically the shrubbery. I guessed if I was going to be anywhere near the Southwest, I might as well pick right between Arizona and NM. Turns out it was at the opposite end of NM. Finally, Okawa, there was a sign that said Okawa was 7km away on Highway 208, so I just followed 208, hoped I was on the correct side of the 7km distance, and actually still missed it by 8km. Cool game.
