I just tweeted at Jerrod Rudolph and thanked him for answering all of my questions regarding Howard and Houston. I told him that as a Rockets fan I'd be stoked to see Dwight in Houston and he responded saying "Its a great city." Speculate? I certainly would!
I would trade Lin/Parsons/Asik/fillers for Jrue Holiday in a heartbeat. The Sixers won't trade him though..he's their franchise player.
That just proved my point. You can't blame Smith's poor jump shooting percentages on him being the PnR ball-handler, because he wasn't really shooting jump shots in those situations.
Considering he keeps trying to get himself traded and hates playing Atlanta, I'm not surprised. Also will not surprised if the only way he'd stay in Atlanta is for a max contract but that he's will take a bit less elsewhere.
He doesn't think a dwight howard/josh smith pairing would work well together. of course I'm more inclined to go with whatever our gm thinks (he may hate it too, who knows)
jrue holiday, terrible trade. do u kno wat stat padding is? when jrue holiday goes against the best defensive teams hes trash and the stats prove it. omer asik - rockets best defensive player and top 5 defensive center in the nba. no way do u trade him. chandler parsons - knows how to do everything well and he has a good 3 pt shot, no way u give him away. jeremy lin - solid pg. no way do u trade him.
Has anybody loked at the 2014 FA class? It's stacked with talent. I would rather get Irving/Wall and Cousins than just Dwight.
My apologies. I meant to say doesn't like a Josh Smith/Dwight Howard front court. I asked him if he thought Dwight and Josh would make a great pair in Houston and he said this; "I don't like DH and Smith together". Now if your into speculation, he may be suggesting that Dwight and Josh may not get along. That or it is just his opinion. I think it might be a little of both..
Jerrod Rudolph is a guy who is a close friend of Dwight Howard. He is also reporter, but has a lot of inside info regarding Dwight that nobody else could get.
For what? Dwight has never shown a history of using teams for leverage, it was either, i want to go there, i'm amicable to going there, or hell no
This is an interesting question to me. If D12 would leverage parties against one another, what would he be looking to gain that the parties could really give? It's not like la can offer more than the max money or any other team for that matter. I'd guess second on his list of "wants" that he could leverage control over would be coaching personel or other players to surround him. Don't you think if he really wanted dantoni gone and that was the only thing holding him back from signing, he'd have made that clear by now already and la would looking for another coach before other teams sign the best options? Want more can LA give that D12 would need to put leveraged pressure on them to give up?
Joe Kotoch: The Trail Blazers are actively looking for help at center and appear willing to trade their lottery pick for immediate help and depth. Twitter @Probballdraft So if Howard is coming, would you do: asik for Portland first and cap space?
