I am wondering if it would be better than 2009 with all of the role player talk. It's a good thing we need role players.
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p>Hearing first 2 promises of 2013 Draft: Dennis Schroeder & Giannis Antetokounmpo both given 1st round guarantees sources say.</p>— Chad Ford (@chadfordinsider) <a href="https://twitter.com/chadfordinsider/status/335087957159587842">May 16, 2013</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
I saw Chad Ford talk about this on ESPN2 before I left back to work. He said Giannis (Greek point forward with Durant frame) had a promise late in the 1st round. Dennis Schroeder got a promise from a late lotto-mid 1st round team. Would be interesting if the Thunder used their late 1st on Giannis.
Almost all draft have a good number of role players that will end up being fairly randomly distributed in the draft, bad once like these seem to lake the top end talents that would make people wow. the guys who could be franchise players. or at least look sure to be.
