Teams must be at or below the 90-man roster limit by this evening. By my count, the Texans are at 89 players. This includes the players under contract, draft picks and UDFAs. It does not include the tryout players like Klein. That means they have one spot open if they wish to sign a tryout player. If there are more tryout players that they would like to sign then they would have to cut some UDFAs.
So as I predicted it sounds like T. Williams is "ahead" of S. Montgomery due to conditioning and speed if in fact they are both looking at the same position.
If there was a year for a WR to win it, this my be it. Not a lot of highly drafted rookies at QB and RB, if any, with a shot to be "the man" right away. Hopkins has Andre in front of him, but there's not a lot of WR talent on the Rams or Vikings so Austin and Patterson may get thrown to A LOT. Or yeah, maybe they'll give it to a lineman.
I like how Swearinger seems to bring a lot of intensity and is really vocal on the field (going off the quotes). Can't wait to see how he plays with some pointers from Ed Reed.
loving this new wave of battlefighters. only half of may, june and july to go for the first pre season game! we so excited!
Yeah but this could be the year where a guy who "fell" into a great situation could definitely win it....guys to consider imo have to at least be Eddie Lacy, and probably all of the offensive linemen taken inside of the top 15....so if we open it up a little bit, NUK could definitely win it.
Yeah but we have a weak skill position draft, crappy QB's and an Aggie playing lineman. Could be the year. Should be the year.
