The wise posters knew to take a wait and see approach. But it will happen again. Fans will forget and get excited about the next mid/low round pick that does well in the Summer League who will struggle to crack the rotation during the season.

I know he hasn't proven anything (except for the 2nd round) but remember, Morey is big on POTENTIAL. Besides, we weren't a team that was going to compete this year.

Draft picks out of the lottery are huge crap shoots IMO, not to mention DM was drafting for potential not immediate production. Lamb still has great potential, just in a really bad place at OKC where they don't need to play him really. TJones needs to mature his game and get consistent. White is.... well moving on from White. Who else was there that was a rookie? I thought we only had 3 first rounders unless you are going further back and counting 2Pat and Mookie?

Jim Deshaies was able to campaign his way into receiving one Hall of Fame vote, so anything is possible.

We all knew from day one that the plan was not to have so many rookies and that we were getting them in order to trade them. Not play them. Morey and crew never intended to play the rooks this season. We are still speculating that they will be traded at anytime. This is why they did not play. Plain and simple. You saw it on McHale's face at the beginning of the season. He did not want to play rookies. They were all sent, almost immediately to the D-league. Sampson was the only one willing to play rookies. When he did we saw that they were not as terrible as they were made out to be. Morey and McHale had a different plan for our rookies.
So guys, stop with the Morey fails at 1st rounders talk. You have all seen this before. Don't act like it's new.

Part of the deal with Boniero was that he would also cast a vote for Tjones in addition to the coke he provided me with the funds to buy

If our rookies would have been allowed to play like GS's, we would have at least two getting votes.
As a matter of fact, all the rookies we have encountered this season( Lamb, Jones, White, Robinson)were drafted into somewhat difficult situations.

    Put it this way -

Royce White contributed probably as much or MORE to the Rockets team this year,

than Draymond Green did actually playing....

Green in the last 2 months playoff stretch run,
"lifted" his team with a BLISTERING .282% FROM THE FIELD. and "contributing" .166 from 3 with that output

If that isnt THE definition of "In SPITE Of", I don't know what is ....

He went along for the ride all season, and does decent finally in a few games AFTER the season, but "now it COUNTS, though!" (And yes it does. But imagine if Harrison Barnes got hurt during regular season.)
