Actually what happened was I got to my shopping cart and then a popup appeared asking if I wanted a live assistant. I said yes, and within a minute there was a lady chatting with me asking me exactly what I wanted and guiding me through the process.

Got the S4, been having some problems and wondering if it's the specific phone or the model just isn't that great -

The motion sensors don't really work - have to swipe like 10 times to answer calls, the screen doesn't turn off and videos don't stop when i turn the phone away
The phone doesn't charge - i have it connected through USB to my laptop and man it's barely charging if at all
The sound system isn't that great either, especially when I compared it to the HTC
As for appeal, the white S4 isn't that bad looking, still cheap quality and the buttons suck, but doesn't appear as cheap as the black version

Anyway, anyone have trouble with those first couple things? Using the motion sensors and charger...

The one's interface is also annoying. Filled with ATT and HTC crapware. Must root immediately.

Camera is as nice if not better than the iPhone 5. Sound = Excellent.

I would return it. With how many phones companies put out, there are bound to be duds.

Most of the latest smartphones charge slow as hell on a computer. It's not pulling AC power, that's why. This is completely normal on any phone i've owned in the past three years dating back to the HTC Aria, which had a tiny ass battery. If you go into the settings, go to about phone, and under status, it should say "Charging (USB)" when plugged into a computer and "Charging (AC)", when on the actual charger.

I've had my HTC One for about a week now. Absolutely love it. Can't go wrong getting either of these phones.

I'm thinking about loading stock Android, but I'm concerned about losing the beats audio integration (not that I'm entirely sold that it makes a difference).

Anyone else having an issue where the home button provides feedback for the double tap but doesn't take you to the task manager?

Edit: found the delay setting. I'm guessing I just wasn't pressing fast enough.

Get Nova launcher from the play store. Customize to your heart's delight.

I am really loving this phone. Other than the way the launcher is set up with the blinkfeed (I much would rather have blinkfeed as a widget), Sense is actually a joy to use and in many ways improves over stock Android for me (I'm coming from CM10.1). Email, SMS, Calls etc. are very slick and well done.

Dumb question from an Android newbie - if I already have an S4 from AT&T, will there be a way I can basically "reload" it with the stock Android code when the new one comes out on the 26th?

I think the bootloader on the AT&T GS4 is locked, so I don't think you would be able to do it. T-Mobile's GS4 though is unlocked I believe.

I'm pretty sure someone has found an a way to unlock it. I think they're holding out on releasing the unlock until the Verizon release though (to prevent Verizon from circumventing the lock I think).

Once you unlock it you'll be able to install any AOSP ROM and get your stock Android experience.

Oh I see. Yeah, well in that case, any GS4 owner should be fine in getting this stock rom.
