I'm still intrigued by the purpose of and devotion to the ****-and-bull story of the YouTube video from hell. If you are going to say anything, it had better be solid. Why pull some crap like that out of your ass?

Maybe because protests erupted in like, 20 other countries? You are nitpicking to a ridiculous degree.

Doubt it. They leak one email of 32(?) and quibble about some small detail in it so they can claim 'doctored emails'. This was their game plan defense from the get go. That's why they didn't let anyone make copies of the emails.

So how many other US ambassadors and their staff were slain in these 20 other locales? You are turning a blind eye for expediency's sake.

    Judicial Watch report: http://www.scribd.com/doc/121624110/JW-Benghazi-Report

150 heavily armed men are "protesting." LOL I bet they scared off the Food Trucks....

Manufactured. Does not bother me, like Watergate. I was more appalled by the 'it was Youtube's fault' and similar message by officials and the media - much like Nixon proclaiming himself 'not a crook'.

I admit I have not followed this in detail (no idea why anyone would, honestly), but every summary I read is high comedy.

Good for you. I applaud your efforts. You should consider performing the summaries as a one man Vaudeville act.

how many of these copycat riots at other embassies.. were actually instigated by the administrations insistence that people were angry because of a youtube video?

You asked why the people in the administration would think that the Benghazi attack was related to a youtube video. I answered the question. The reason is because that video caused worldwide protests. It seemed like a pretty obvious potential connection on the day of the attack.

As it turned out, they were initially incorrect about the video causing the Benghazi attack. Is this that hard to understand?

Yes, it is hard to understand WHY they held to that story for two weeks or more after the "fog of war" had lifted. Wishful thinking? Or does that still fall into the "initial" period?

They Libyans didn't think that or buy that story. How many other deaths were there around the world and how many of those demonstrations featured 150 armed men with fireworks..... oops I meant to write mortar fire?

They weren't initially incorrect. They had it right to begin with. It was a terrorist attack with ties to AQ. They decided Saturday almost 5 days later to blame it on the video. Just so you are informed, the YouTube video wasn't even on the talking points memo.

    4 protesters killed in Yemen
    2 killed in Sudan
    4 killed in Tunisia
    23 killed in Pakistan
I am sure I missed some.

Like I said earlier, you are nitpicking this thing to death.

The real question here is why did Obama refer to the attack as an 'act of terror' instead of a 'terrorist act?'
