Too many examples to list of guys who felt pressured to come back early, when either they're not physically or mentally ready.

Penny was the greatest that never was. Damn shame we missed him, and only had a glimpse of one of the greatest players.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, I am glad DRose is waiting it out.

Grant Hill, Penny, Tracy McGrady, Brandon Roy, Greg Oden were all cleared to play time and time again.

Shump played. No structural damage to his knee.

Hill and Roy were definitely not medically cleared to play.... Not sure about Penny and Mcgrady. Not sure why Oden is even mentioned he was made out of glass so it didn't matter.

Pretty sure none of those players were medically cleared for 2-3 months and didn't play. Not remotely the same scenario. There would be no difference if Rose played one month ago or six months later. The risk would be exactly the same. The difference is that Rose was afraid to face the Heat and/or afraid of people seeing him play without his explosiveness because he relies 100% on his athleticism and has no jump shot. Rose=mental midget.

Surprised Chicago hasn't turned on him yet like they did with Jay Culter ''quitting''
