I imagine the original training camp would have been plays for Lin to create: score or pass. Probably a lot of PNRs and Staggered Screens for Lin.
Oh I do too. I certainly agree with you here. I'm excited to see what they can come up with in that regard.
Nice vid. Its really hard and a lot of work to tell a narrative through highlights but you did a brilliant job. From the 2 year's of highlights, Lin looks fearless. From reading clutch fans, he plays scared (esp. in the playoffs). Why does does a player who's fought so hard to get his dream, and seems like a genuinely good guy inspire so much hate?
You mean the same Hinrich that the Rockets abused on Christmas Day? Why not just try to get Gary Payton out of retirement? LOL
Yep, he played through being bloodied and bandaged. and many teams put out the hit on him. That knee to the guts when he was taking the ball over the half court was really brutal and thuggish. I reckon Jeremy is as tough as nails. Possibly the toughest player on our team next to Asik. ... those fairies Harden and Parsons on the other hand...
right... they put the hit on jeremy lin because he was torching teams at the start of the season, oh wait.. that was Harden.
Erm. You do realise when I called Harden and Parsons fairies... I was being sarcastic. I really have to write my thoughts down better. This whole team is gutsy, lead by Jeremy and Asik.
My man, you have to read more on Restricted Free Agents. A lot of people were jumping on Lin for signing a ridiculous contract but in reality that was the only contract that was offered to him. Had no choice but to sign before current team can match. And by by the way telling your current team of the offer before you sign is strictly not allowed. But let's move on. Lin is Rocket and he showed through 82 games that he can be a starter. A lot of people are just blinded by hate. He doesn't deserve any of this.
The point is, whether you pull together a 6 minute clip or a 2 hour movie of Jeremy Lin it will only be Highlights. Meaning it will only show the good things. If you guys think that Jeremy Lin did not play aprehensive this whole past season, then you are ignoring what Jeremy Lin might be if he does not play aprehensive. Meaning the people who you claim hate Jeremy Lin so much actually believe in him more than you do because we can see unrealized potential. That is why people are so disapointed because we can see that he has potential. He played good one night ,bad the next, horrible then great! THAT IS NOT LEADERSHIP. The NBA is full of people who have potential but only the people with the strongest minds to brave all attacks are going to survive. You think Lebron doesn't have naysayers? Kobe? But they take their hits and they come back and play better. I expect a lot from Jeremy Lin because I can see it in him. I don't need to lie about his talents even though he is a Houston Rocket because he is a grown man. He is not a child that you guys need to coddle and protect and lie about. People have the right to be uncormfortable with him being the starting point guard for this team because he has been inconsistent. Whether his future is with the Houston Rockets or not I wish him well and I hope he gets better in the future. But I'm not gonna lie about the season he had, call me a hater I don't care but I won't be a liar.
Thanks for your reply but I'll stick to my original statement and will even go further: I believe Lin is as tough as nails. Lin and Asik are the toughest guys on this team and represent the heart and soul of the Rockets.

What is LEADERSHIP? Willing to admit and work on weakness LEADERSHIP? Always working hard in practice LEADERSHIP? Takes responsibility on mistakes LEADERSHIP? Good work ethic LEADERSHIP? Good Locker Room Guy LEADERSHIP? Helps others improves LEADERSHIP? so to you a guy who is consistently good on the court is showing LEADERSHIP? Allen Iverson? Stephon Marbury?
