Props to OKC for the effort, but their play-calling down the stretch and OT was so poor it wasn't funny. When KD's shot isn't falling and the defense is totally geared to denying him, you have to call plays for other guys to shoot. Coach Bonehead still hasn't figured that out the last 3 years.

To be fair, Brooks has never not had Westbrook be out for any stretch of games, so that KD is in this situation is completely new.

Durant calling upon the spirit of MerGady on that shot.

    MerGady's spirit did not answer.

So, WB plays heroball instead? There is no Thunder offense. The OT was almost exclusively "run clock and let KD try a jumper as it wound down".

Have to wait a couple years still for him to be a FA.

How many times in-a-row does KD have to shoot 3/11 or 1/11 to finish games before he figures it out? It's plain as day. The question people that follow the Thunder have asked for several years about Bonehead: If everyone else can see it, why can't he? If the same play doesn't work 5 times straight, it's time for something different.

Again: The only basket they made in OT was when a player dumped the "KD at all costs" offense and decided to take a wide-open shot.

To think the lakers roster could have been

    Marc gasol/ hill
    Howard / clark / jamison
    Batum / artest
    Bryant / blake / meeks
    vasquez / nash

Yup, the 3 took turns in OKC - hence the trade.

Are we going to blame Westbrook for Durant being trash in the 4th and OT?

Hopefully this will shut up dumb fools like Skip Bayless who don't think very highly of WB.

Wow. OKC had no answer at all. No one else steps up when Durant is guarded.

Well to be fair, the Thunder would have won this series already... but Westbrook took an arrow to the knee.
