The Knicks have the best jerseys in the NBA. I would absolutely love to have their trim/style with our new jerseys. Tight fit, nothing saggy, and something that looks comfortable to wear. Have you ever tried wearing a replica Rockets jersey?

I'm a fan of the simple, classic design. Boston and Chicago did it right. No fancy shmancy lines/designs dancing along the sides of the unis. Clean shorts with the logo on the bottom. Perfection.

Someone has to send these in. They are great.

Just doesn't look right. Looks out-dated or something.

they say you cant teach simplicity.. whenever theres one of these logo threads, if we let the entire CF community design a logo, it would have the words, "htown" 'clutch city" "houston rockets" with a rocket blasting around a basketball, leaving a smoke-trail, with the houston skyline, clutch the bear and the championship banners on it..

those team you mentioned did it right, i mean the celtics have the same jerseys that bill russell wore. the bulls same jersey from the jordan era.. the new knicks jerseys feel classic, and the new cut allows them to fit comfortable without that awkward jersey fold under the pits..

i absolutely cant stand that era of jerseys where there is curvy lines and large swoops down the side and unnecessary piping thrown around

I'd prefer the yellow stripe around the waistband and a red stripe for the home jerseys. These can be our normal uniforms and we can throw together a pretty rockin' alternate too.

I really would miss the 'R' though.

I agree. I only tried to do that last concept bc of an attempt to thinking outside the box. Of course we can sit here and make an easy update to our originals. But, i doubt LE$ goes for that. We have now had the worst jerseys in the league and in sports since 1996. No one but Rockets fans liked our originals and that's probably why we changed after back/back rings. Now that jersey sales don't matter to the individual owner, i don't see why we can't go back. But, something tells me Les just has terrible taste and will keep trying to come up with some innovative new look for us that keeps failing.

So yeah, i'd just change the jersey cut to a more modern look for our retros and logo and call it a day like NY did. One of the few odd stripes and piping on jerseys i like are GS and Wash.

If you're gonna make it a yellow waistband instead of the original white. I'd rather just make it solid to match the shorts. Too much yellow is a no-no.

The Rockets do not have the worst uniforms in the league. People here say that because they are nostalgic about the past.

Most people who are fans of other teams would put the Rockets' current uniforms are in the middle of the pack or slightly above average.

Not what i've seen. I can only remember one time where i saw a poll that had us in the top 10 or something. Most comments i see of people are that ours are awful. I browse logo/uniform websites as well. Forget about nostalgia. There is a reason most of the fa

I typed in "NBA uniform rankings" into google. Here are results from the first page:

    No. 12:
    http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1111709-ranking-each-nba-uniform-from-worst-to-first/page/20

    No. 19:
    http://espn.go.com/espn/playbook/story/_/id/8298718/uni-watch-power-rankings-rates-nba-uniforms-1-30

    No. 22:
    http://news.sportslogos.net/2013/04/15/the-logocast-presents-the-nba-logouniform-power-rankings/

    No. 5:
    http://www.poundingtherock.com/2013/1/27/3922344/stupid-power-rankings-the-best-uniforms-besides-the-spurs

    No. 9:
    http://jerseyremix.blogspot.com/

Those are people's rankings from the first page of google.

    Average ranking: 13

It goes different ways. People who are nostalgic about the past rank them low. People who don't care about that generally think they are good uniforms.

But when you average out everyone's thoughts, the current uniforms fall somewhere in the middle.

the current uniforms have run their course. remember how patterson always used to fold the sleeves over to have a more tank topish feel. how many times did the team play in the alts this year.. i have a feeling harden and co had a big say in this. the current jerseys are oversized and ugly.. the wing shoulders, the material flaps over your arm for zero comfortability..

    remember this pic??
just shows how awkward the jerseys are..

now if they dont want to return to the championship era colors, fine. just get some new uniforms.. im sure they can change uniforms with an entire franchise overhaul..
