Lakers hire Phil. Rockets hire MDA. Linsanity returns while Harden gets 25 ppg without breaking a sweat due to no more ISOs, and is 100% healthy and full of energy when playoff time comes. Might not even need Howard to make a deep run.
Incorrect. The Lakers cannot TRADE FOR a player that is a free agent and would be traded TO them after signing a new contract. But they can sign and trade their own free agent to another team and receive non free agent players back.
I am not saying Barnes is better pimpn. Just saying Parson wasnt superior in his rookie season verses Barnes rookie season.
I guess I can take credit for that, but the point I was trying to make was to an earlier poster who said that we can be better than all 4 teams still left in the playoffs. My counter argument to him was the fact that we don't stand a chance at being better than those teams because we don't have very many "favorable" matchups. That's when the Chandler vs Barnes thing came up. I said I thought Chandler was better but not by enough to consider it a "homerun" of a matchup....and here we are.
You forgot: 10 opposing shot intimidations and healthy guards is barely better than 0 intimidations, 4 shots to Harden's body, 2 shots to Lin's face, and a body block to Beverly.
Please stop digging yourself deeper. How does an extra year at $4 million make Barnes a better trade value? A better player for cheaper or a lesser player for more? (Sounds like one of those AT&T commercials with the kids haha). On top of that, assuming your logic that Barnes has a lot more potential than Parsons, then he is going to be in for a hell of a payday the year after Chandler, so that's a moot point. Meaning that Chandler's low salary now for one less year would be preferred to GMs than to spending $5 or so million more on Barnes before either player even has a new contract when thy're both getting raises.
On realGM, someone mentioned Magic was trying to bring Dwight back and I thought he was trolling. But as to confirm from Rockets insiders here, do you guys here similar stuff too?
Sorry, I think you misunderstood me. The second sentence states if we were to land Howard or CP3 we could still land that third semi star.
Fegan is now trying to convince Dwight that he should stay a full time resident in Florida so that he will get around this tax. I will send more as I get it...
Pretty sure he bought a mansion in LA http://www.celebritynetworth.com/articles/celebrity/dwight-howard-buy-20-million-house-la-check/
Fegan's hate and greed is mind-boggling. He doesn't give one crap about Dwight. This is all about him.
It was a thread about Harden rallying the crew to offseason practices in LA do u guys think they are there to get D12 to join
What does this mean? Full time resident? If he comes to Houston or stay with LA, how is that possible?
I may be wrong, but I believe many athletes have their primary residence in Texas or Florida to avoid other states' taxes. Not sure how you establish your primary residence with multiple homes. http://boca-raton-cpa.com/how-to-establish-florida-residency/ http://www.ronwebster.com/content/making-florida-your-domicile
