His confidence in getting Howard is as inside as it's going to get. NO ONE knows what Dwight wants right now. Probably not even Dwight. I would say he may be inching closer to Houston as we have heard from Cyber and Doc now on the subject. The mention of playing with his friend implies that we may be able to finagle JSmoov over here.
This would be a cruel joke if Doc just decided to mess with us after cyberx got us all excited. I am going to believe though!
I actually believes in both Doc Rockets and Cyberx.... Dwight is coming to Houston, no other reason can explain Morey in this Gif....
This right here is the heart of the matter. Will Dwight learn from his experiences? The people around him steered him poorly on two occasions -- the March trade deadline and then the fiasco in July. He didn't end up where he wanted, his reputation went down the tubes, and he ultimately delayed his free agency by a year with little to show for it. It is Dwight, so it'd be foolish to say anything with 100% certainty... but there is every reason in the world for HIM to take the wheel this summer. The last sentence is interesting, too -- I do think Josh Smith could be the ideal "tipping point" to make Dwight finally act on his own instinct.
It's been no secret that Houston has always been an attractive situation for Howard. All we can do is wait to see if he acts on it.
Ummmm.....no it hasn't. It just got attractive this year with this young team. The old, mediocre Houston Rockets weren't attractive to stars at all.
Here's to hoping that Dwight chooses fun and winning over glamour and a little more guaranteed money. And that he has a Lebron-esque maturity that motivates him and makes him greater than he ever was. Deep down I think that money is going to be hard to pass up, but if he wants to win anytime soon that situation in LA is pretty bleak.
