Because our competitive advantage is slowly fading with more teams implementing our strategy and staff into their personnel.

Thank you Feigan, now that you mentioned Gersson Rosas, consider he's gone too.

Hinkie was the real GM of the Rockets.

Hate to lose him he was really important to Morey. I hope this does not have a negative impact on the front office.

Imagine we just lost Chandler Parsons to the 76ers for nothing?

    Yea that's why.

All the teams are stealing our assistants :(. Just shows how well Morey and McHale put together their staffs.

Reminds me of the NFL when your team does well and your great coordinators leave for head coaching positions. It comes with the territory unfortunately.

The Rockets are known for being pretty secretive when it comes to their in-house analytics. Considering Hinkie was the guy in charge of our analytics team, how much of that knowledge gets leaked? I'm not sure, legally, what he's allowed to take with him to Philly.

This the one thing that I fear as well. We will always have a good front office if morey is in charge but with other teams doing the same exact thing in terms of analytics it may result in a far less advantage for us. Sad but true.

Crap, the Rockets are losing the real brains of the operation.

Who is going to tell Morey which lotto busts to waste Les' money on now?

Will this make trading with Sixers easier or more difficult?

Does anyone have any insight about how big of a role he played? Any specifics?

It would be interesting to see how much of his knowledge he will implement into the organization.

I wonder if we have any IP involved with the data/formulas/systems that we use that Sam cannot implement over there.

Morey's statistics without Hinkie = recruiting anyone with cornrows because Allen Iverson had cornrows and he was good.
