don't think there's a thread on it yet... saw it today and really enjoyed it. starring Matthew McConaughey, he plays a fugitive that is helped out by two young kids. I didn't know much about it going in so I don't want to say much more. IMDb link and summary: "Two teenage boys encounter a fugitive and form a pact to help him evade the bounty hunters on his trail and to reunite him with his true love." http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1935179/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1
I loved Shotgun Stories and Take Shelter. I think Jeff Nichols is a great up and coming director, I'm definitely watching this one.

my apologies... I think he's extremely overrated but I did really like Memento and The Prestige. The Dark Knight Rises was a disaster
yeah I've heard he's on a "career roll." and he's not done yet! working with Scorsese and DiCaprio on "The Wolf of Wall Street" coming out in October and apparently he's the lead in another movie this year and he's already getting Oscar buzz for it.
Wow it does have it's flaws but The Dark Knight Rises was awesome. If you don't like that movie you must not like comic movies as a whole.
lol I heard that Magic Mike was actually good, haven't seen it myself, but I'll just trust the word of others
bump finally saw this today was a little disappointed because of the hype I got after reading reviews, but still enjoyed it. Those kids made the movie and McConaughey did his thing. The first 20-30 mins was a drag, but the rest I enjoyed. The plot, story telling and the Spoiler love symbolism is what I enjoyed the most. it's not for everyone since its an Indie film, 2 people walked out of the movie saying it sucked before they left, last time I was in a movie that had the same reaction was Spring Breakers, which I enjoyed the hell out of that movie. btw, speaking of McConaughey films in the past 2 years, anybody seen Bernie? Still need to catch that on Netflix
