(Not again) New Rockets Jersey

This is it.

 

Fired up photoshop. I like the alternate jerseys the Rockets have... but I don't like all the yellow. So I made some adjustments:

Yellow just around the collar and sleeves:


or

Yellow stripe also down the side:



White numbers instead of yellow, just like on the old jerseys of the Hakeem days.

 

Get rid of that white stripe down the side and we have our classic uniform with a modern twist. Less is more, and if we want even better jerseys... Just go back to the classics with a new jersey cut. Done.

 

Good effort, but looks too WNBAish.

Is there any official word on why we haven't gotten new jerseys? Seems like every year a couple teams change uni's, aren't we due?

I REALLY don't like NY's jersey cut... I don't get the point of the hoops around the arms not going all the way around... then again if you change that, you've basically got the championship unis...

its beautiful so simple-but i doubt Les ever goes for it. The man has terrible taste. That said, i still can't stand the sleeve that just simply cuts off. Make it go all the way around.

 

oh and the shorts belt should be white

 

These are the best I've seen.

I want simple and classic. Nothing too spectacular, just solid and simple. Red, white, and yellow. Something we can have for a LONG time.

I'll admit the new cut off trim is growing on me.

You had it right with "HOUSTON" on it. Try a home with "ROCKETS" on it. Also, how will the shorts look? Slap the logo on the home and the "ROCKets" script on the away shorts? Or remove it and just have basic shorts with white and yellow trim?

 

"ROCKETS" going down the shorts would be awesome, just like the classics

 

This and the Dwight thread already has me pumped for next season (given the Rockets miraculously show up with new jerseys). And the 1st round ended just last week?

 

I don't like the stripe down the side. Yellow around the collar and arms, and maybe at the bottom of the shorts, and we already have a huge improvement. I really like this a lot. I would like a new logo, also, but if a jersey change is all we can get, I'll take it.

 

These are fantastic. NY has some of the cleanest uniforms in the league now, and I personally like the cutoff borders.

Just so we don't completely jack their design, we'd need to add something unique on there, but I love em otherwise.
